Afternoon Everyone
Had a busy couple of days so haven't posted. Friday was spent doing lots of paperwork and some housework, as tea was cooking I managed to do my first arm knit project - posted the pic on Flickr - and me and OH then relaxed on the sofa. Yesterday was an early start as I was at the Grand National at Aintree for my friends hen-do. We then came back to the local pub and some people went home (as at this point it was past 9pm and we had met at the pub at 8.30am). My OH and the groom-to-be were also at the pub and I got home around 11pm. OH made me a cuppa and had brought my flat shoes for me as I had very sore feet after wearing heels all day!
Well, arm-knit scarf was reasonably easy to made, although I need to make it about half the size next time so I would get two scarves out of the wool instead of just one. Hoping to make a few more scarves and I am also going to have a go at making some knitted headbands so they can have matching sets for presents.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

It is quite easy, the hardest thing I found was I made some of the loops a little big at the beginning and I could of made two infinity scarves from the two balls of wool in honesty!
I just followed a video on youtube from someone called 'simply maggie'. Although what she doesn't say in the video is you need 2 x balls of wool and that if you just check it part way through to see if it goes around your neck that is long enough! If I can do it anyone can :rotfl:Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
