    Mrs M - had not heard of your gran's superstition but thanks for telling us - my family one is do not carry a debt into the New Year so I have to pay any bills before end of NYE!

    Not sure I'd be washing on either of those days anyway - as usually try and do it on the same day each week - Friday for clothes and Sat or Sunday for bedding and towels.
    Just about to have a coffee then doing HHI at 1:00 - anyone joining me? Will then have reached the bottom of the basket - before the TD finishes that is!!!

    I have been out this morning - with the boys - garden centre for a coffee which was nice, and farm shop. I need to get on now as I am running out of time.

    Monday Mayhem

    Few presents left to wrap - boys are done :xmassmile
    S&S the kitchen
    S&S the bathroom/s and loo's
    Dust round the whole downstairs
    Have a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
    Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    Mop the kitchen floor!
    Get out any special christmas crockery and make sure it is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!
    Declutter your desk.. or anywhere else that has all your paperwork on.
    Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike

    Will join you but a HHC for me. Ironing is going in the basket till after boxing day.

    It's mostly a case of seeing if designs survive on both my Dr Who Xmas tshirt and a favourite of his.

    We're not in. We're just winging it. Not having the traditional dinner etc and very informal for us. But i will be popping in anyway :)

    We've been swimming and still at inlaws. Just had the cakey bakey thing. Looks pants but tastes good :D

    Not too bad wind here but very wet.

    I trailed up and down the stairs with stuff to put away, and then S&S the downstairs loo.
