    OH is a happy bunny. I sourced him the xbox one BUT it is something everyone will use and share so while the children got a little less spent on them the amount spent on this spread over all the people that will use it balances it out.

    Turkey cooked and carved and soaking up the gravy while the children whine and whinge and we wait for the girls to get back.. and the chicken cooks. The cats are in heaven with all the skin and inedible bits they love so much.

    I might actually eat today, I've not had anything more substantial than crisps and satsumas for 3 days, I'm a little peckish!


    DD2 trotting round in a batman onesie with rocket dog boots and a hat..
    DS2 is yet to be seen.
    DS3 is playing 2 player game by himself on his laptop..

    DD2's bf seemed slightly overwhelmed by his gifts.. it wasn't a lot .. a wallet, 10 pairs of socks, some sweets and a watch.. I spent less than £30 and got him more than anyone has got him since he was 14 apparently. His parents kicked him out at 15 and gave him a bottle of homemade wine this year.. he didn't get anything the last 3 years :( Since he was not allowed to spend any time today with his family I have him here and he will be here tomorrow too.. he is really good with the small pinks.. he spent half an hour cuddling the Pixie while I dealt with the girls and dinner which is more than DD2 would do!! Plus he makes tea, coffee and loads the DW without being nagged! He also makes an effort to speak to the boys which very few people do!

    Nap time in bossyland. DD snoring beside me, DS in with one granny, other granny in DD room. Stepdad on sofa snoring and FIL in chair snuffling but waking if someone tries to take the remote off him :rotfl:

    DS been out on bike 3 times - he is made up! But upstairs he opened stocking fillers and said the socks were "rubbish" and "where is the ipad?" :eek: cheeky little moo. But since seeing bike, he has forgotten the existence of the infernal ipad... :D

    DD loving her Rapunzel dress and declared the "Barbie" house is rapunzels tower (its a townhouse style) and she has a Barbie, 5 princesses and 5 similar dolls all living there now. She also got this humpy dumpy game, like toddler Jenga, which she thinks is hilarious.


    I've had Xmas dinner: a gammon and chilli jam sandwich with real butter, Pringles and hummous, then millionaires cheesecake mmm. Turkey and stuffing buttie later. We all seem quite pleased without the "proper" dinner!

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

    Been very lazy - just the relaxing Christmas we needed here.

    Off to cook dinner now.

    Flying will be gathering up wrapping paper to use in next year's Christmas crafts, and the gift tags stashed to use as bookmarks.

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

    I had to cook for 8 today, which is very stressful for me, but it all went well and it nearly all got eaten so I can relax now and have a peaceful evening - well, once my 3 month old granddaughter goes to bed, she's a bit over-stimulated today!

    Sometimes it's good to rant even if invisibly as you have done.

    Though I think someone who does the hospital trips, helps with homework and teaches them to be safe in traffic is parenting more than befriending when they are young.

    Bossy.. I don't care whose idea it is.. it made me feel sick ... what was worse was the older ones were there and heard yet the only one who said anything was DD2's bf... the others say nothing because he starts bullying them so it is easier to say nothing which makes me very sad.

    I didn't want said rant where family would see it.. but I've got this.. so my day is ok regardless of him...

    ooh,... and DS3's blood monitor appears to be on the fritz! I don't need this the replacement place are shut until 6th January!
