Happy birthday Piggers.
Just popping in to say I hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas. We had a great fun day here yesterday, recreating Christmas as it was when the children were small.
Today it is just DD and me here, so after typing this, its time to watch Christmas films.
Flying wise, first of six loads in WM, downstairs sort of hoovered, pressies put away, spare bed put away, dogs walked.....washing up done...I think that is it.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Happy birthday pigpen!
Its my ds2 first birthday today too, he has woken up with a blotchy rash, lovely it goes well with his sore throat and temperature, it might be a trip to the walk in for us today.
My house is a mess and AF is being awful so I feel like doing nothing, we are meant to be going to my sisters later for a family get-to-gether but I don't know if ds2 is contagious so we might have to give it a miss.
I am going to go make myself look useful. I hope we are all having a nice day x0 -

Morning all
Happy Birthday Pigpen
Yesterday went really well and everybody was quite happy. Unfortunaely DS2 and I took unwell at about 11pm hence why we are only up now. I wondered if I'd managed to poison everyone but as it was just the two of us and everybody ate the same I'm not sure.
Quiet day planned with just a bit of tiding up.
Thank you so much for my secret santa gifts they are lovely and much appreciated. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hope everyone is ok.
I managed to visit my Dad in hospital first thing yesterday. I was surprised at the amount of traffic on the road. There were lots of cars with no indicators and elderly once a year drivers.
Then came home to cook Christmas lunch. Didn't eat much then had a 3 hour nap due to a migraine.
We have been out for a short walk this morning (wearing my new boots) to blow the cobwebs off. OH is snoozing on the sofa now. I have just done a grocery order online.
1xWM done
Bathroom S&S done
Off to give myself a mini manicure before starting lunch. (DS2 is already having his)
Happy Birthday Piggers (not sure if it was yesterday) x
Father Christmas was extremely generous with me. x0 -

Nicki your window is fab! I showed Mr LW the pic you posted, and he agrees with me. Well done, that woman!:Tcyclingyorkie wrote: »Nicki - your window is amazing! Thank you for posting a picture of it.
Thank you:o
Unfortunately I'm going to have to do some emergency repairs to it. Condensation last night due to freezing temperatures outside means one of the snowmen has lost his belly and the reindeer are all drippy. Next year I'll use something betterGloss paint scrapes off doesn't it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
DD was speechless for the first time since she learnt to talk when Ex arrived with her main gift. It was a KindleTo say she's a Matilda is an understatement, so this is going to help keep the books in the livingroom down to a minimum now (I won't let her have them in her room, not only is there no room but she'd never sleep lol) and she also now has an @mazon account as a result (controlled by ex for now as he had to put his card details in to buy her a book.) which means people can now give her vouchers if they don't know what to get her and she can choose from the comfort of her own home what she wants
DD has left to stay with ex and his family until 2nd Jan! So I am having a major de-boxing/de-bagging session of her stuff to minimise what needs to be put away by her when she gets back. WM is on its 3rd wash of the day, with just one more to go, and I have no ironing pile as I've managed to get stuff out the drier & on hangers quick enough that its presentable:j
I'm looking forward to sitting down and chilling in the not too distant future. Or I might do some baking, or some batch cooking. I haven't decided yet :rotfl::rotfl:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIGPEN!!!!!!!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
