Question for any iPhone users:
My (non iphone) appears to be deceased. However, stepdad has an (unopened!) iphone 4 in his van (business contract upgrade) lol he likes the previous one... And said I can have it :T
Aware I'll need an apple micro sim. Can I buy one in-store (Vodafone) or will I have to order direct, to retain my phone no? And, is the iphone likely to be locked (business acc with O2)
Ta muchly! xBossymoo

tbh.. I wouldn't get an iphone 4.. it won't upgrade to the new operating system so none of the apps work.. and I mean none.. not even the childrens ones. It won't connect to wifi etc.. it would only be usable for calls and texts.. OH's mum tried using his old one and had no end of issues with it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Morning all,
I hope you had a fantastic day yesterday. We certainly did. I made a big effort to keep the house tidy yesterday and get all the dishes washed and put away. The only big things to do today is move presents into the various rooms and eat turkey
The washing machine is on and I need to do my dailies. I may even wash a few windows as they are looking grubby and I ran out of time before the big day. Feels lovely and calm around here...:xmassign:CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

And just for Piggers as it is your birthday today, RELAX and let everyone else do everything.
Will try dot-to-dotting, but don't know how much will get done because of the below.
Haven't been sleeping v. well over the last few nights - keep waking up and as a result, am tired the following day so lots of naps have been taking place and lots of programmes have been missed!
Ironing Challenge: Nearly done! Just got a few more items left in the basket and then Tuesday's laundry and it will be all over :j

Happy Birthday, pigpen! What lovely giggles from your little Pixie!
Thank you to my Secret Santa for the fingerless gloves - they will be very useful for typing early in the morning before the CH comes on.
Despite DH having a bit of a meltdown late on Christmas Eve, thankfully things took a better turn and we had a great day yesterday and managed to keep the BD at bay. We came downstairs in the morning to three tidy rooms, and even got the gas fire working in the LR to make it all cosy, so that we relaxed in real comfort for the first time since we moved in JuneAfter opening a few presents to each other and enjoying a light lunch and traditional post-prandial snooze, we drove 15 min to DS1 and his family, including his SiL and her DH, for their first Christmas in their new home. There we ate a huge meal (which was all the more delicious because I hadn't had to do anything except prep the veg), played games with the DGDs, and sat and talked and ate yummy desserts after the LOs had gone to bed. It was different from anything we have ever done before and it was very good
Our family presents are all still wrapped up and under our tree, waiting for all my DC and DGC to descend on us tomorrow. Today I have to blitz the house from top to bottom and make up all the beds, while DH is planning on painting the walls and replacing the door on the downstairs WC  I shall also tidy the dumping ground in the utility and try out my new steam mop on the DR, hall and kitchen floors before DGS3 comes a-crawling
May peace and happiness continue to reign in all flyhomes.
(((Hugs))), sticks and spoons where needed.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Today I'm going to Hoover and do some washing and change the kids beds as they all had new quilt covers to go on. I will also be building a Lego friends school to go with the cruise liner I built yesterday. Very impressed with eldest bless him as he spent about 4 hours building a Lego Star Wars ship then it was bedtime and he was too tired to play with it lolHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Hoppy Birdday Piggers :bdaycake:
Lizzie has, of course, been suitably walked and fed, and has been entertaining herself watching the squirrel in the garden, through the patio door.:o
Jeans wash done - I can get three pairs in the WM along with any dark-coloured t-shirts that are in the wash bin; Mr LW has just been dispatched to put them on the whirligig, as it's a little early for my shoulders to stretch up to do this.;)
We are having our annual viewing of "The Hogfather" today - this DVD always seems to get trotted out at some point over the Xmas/New Year period.:D I suspect I know the script by heart!:rotfl: I don't mind, as long as I have something else to occupy me at the same time - may even get a bit of my waistcoat knitted!:rotfl:
Veggie Lincolnshire sausages, chips and toms for dins today; Mr LW will want his main meal at midday again, so no brekkie for me, other than a glass of grapefruit juice to take my meds with (if I eat brekkie, I can't eat a main meal at lunch time).
Have a good day, all - and Flychildren: play nicely, and enjoy all the lovely things you got yesterday. And don't forget your "Thank You" letters!:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Just popping on to say thank you for my secret Santa present collection. They are lovely.
Happy birthday pigpen.0
