Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday. I was given enough books to occupy me if I hibernate on the sofa til the end of Jan!! Excellent!

Well we had an outbreak of D&V on Christmas Eve night on the ward . Consequently I was unable to get any sleep yesterday. I had been in bed for 10 minutes when MiL arrived.
We forgot DD's veggie lunch (on the side at home), nanny forgot to put in her Quorn burgers and the veggie stuffing was in the turkey :eek: so she had just vegetables .
Lots of gifts here, everyone seems happy.
My Tunis cake is delish .
Now to get dressed and go out for a walk on the prom.

Just popping in to say happy birthday, piggers! And to your DS2, lozzy, I hope you're both having lovely days.

Dusty, I took was poorly last night, thought I was going to faint in SIL's bathroom :eek: I hope you're feeling better today.

We're still in bed, I am feeling blue and I don't know why. Need to get up shortly as the LR is a bomb site and I want to get some washing and ironing done before we go to the outlaws later. Maybe a shower will perk me up a bit.

Still in bed too as is DS2 and DS1. DH has done most of the tidying in he kitchen. I have managed a piece of toast and so has DS2. Hope you feel better too and you Kaz. Must be a bug as I know of various people in he same position.

Lozzie hope your little one is ok and can enjoy some of his birthday.

Thank you ladies, I'm feeling physically fine now, just mentally very blah. MIL is on her way to pick us up now, I could do without it tbh but I'm sure once I'm there, I'll brighten up a bit.

One load in the WM, bathroom and kitchen S&Sed, LR tidied, last few gifts put in their new homes.

Off to quickly get changed, feeling really fat today :mad: usually the first sign that the BD is sniffing at my ankles. I hope I'm wrong.

We're back in the house - Devil-cat v. happy to see us. Mrs Dog had a fab time over at the chalet with her Jack Russell boyfriend, and a run on the beach this morning.
