I did ALL my ironing earlier :) Then emptied the TD!!! Hey ho, only 2 things needed ironing but then we had showers and filled the wash basket back up!!!!!!

Any how apart fro that all is done, just waiting for someone to go to sleep, then we can put pressies out out and head to bed ourselves.

Hope you all have a fab day and see you all after Christmas xx

Father Christmas has been, DH is snoring, Ds1 (17)is asleep DS2 (11) is awake upstairs !

    Cleaned most windows
    Baked cakes with DS2
Old lovely friend (she isn't old just known for 18 yrs) came to visit. We have promised to meet up in May.
Eldest sister dropped off presents with sleigh bells on the bags. Struggled to hide them without young ears hearing.

DS2 says he doesn't believe in Santa but he did want to put out a drink and carrot etc. He is young for his age and his class mates tease him I think.

I hope I'm well enough to visit my Dad in hospital in the morning.

Hope everyone celebrating has a lovely Christmas x

Glad your shoulder is a little better Ionafan
    Get well to poorlies x

Please add me to the ironing basket challenge x

Presents are down, house is tidy, just the stockings to do when I go up, big ones are obviously still up but I'll be up before them so will replace them in the morning.

I wish you all a day filled with rest and love, I shall be popping in tomorrow so will catch up on how it's going then.

Good morning all and a Merry Christmas

Kids have visited their paternal grandfather...if I hadn't taken them they would not have visited. A somewhat 'dysfunctional' family so I step up to the mark. DS is, AFAIK, the first in their family to attend Uni.
Electricity blew again when I switched DR light on - hopefully it's a bit of residual damp which will dry in time.
But it means that presents still need to be wrapped; I will do it when I wake in the morning and I can see.

I wish you all a very happy Christmas; for me it means family and friends, for whom I am thankful.

    Hypothetical Q

If you had a turkey crown weighing 3.25Kg which you planned to cook on New Years Day whjen wouild you get it out to thaw?

    Merry Christmas all :D

Santa has been, DD left him stuff although she doesn't believe in the person, just that he is the embodiment of giving & Love at Christmas :)

I still have to wrap family gifts tomorrow, but they're all simple enough to do. I just misjudged how long it would take me to make my bed, colour my hair, ice the cake (let DD decorate it!), and chase DD to bed. At least I've set the table ready for dinner, the kitchen is as set as it can be, and I remembered to write DD's card this year :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you all have a fantastic day filled with love, laughter, friends and family. XXXXX

    I second that Pigpen.

Pleased to report we are all safe and well in Lancashire after our mercy dash to Herts yesterday. The weather on the way down was shall we say " interesting" but no problems or delays. We got back in time for Midsomer Murders!!! Our journey was easier I'm sure because of all your positive vibes and kind thoughts. Surprise surprise we have come back with two bags of washing - well I did volunteer:rotfl:. It must have gone to my head - the ironing basket being empty for the first time in ages!!!!

Have a superb Christmas everyone - and will catch up perhaps later this week or in the New Year as we have a planned return journey with an overnight on Sunday.

Merry Christmas to all. Hugs and love xxxx

Need to get up and sort sliding wardrobe doors. Neither will open. I will figure it out.

Feed Ozzy and have breakfast. Get ready and off to DDs.

Wardrobe doors fixed. Quite proud of myself.
