Samsung S3 Mini Cracked Screen - Unfit for Purpose
Comments
-
I would like those who have experienced problems with their phone to list them here.
I think there are a lot more than choose to admit who have cracked their screen but just assume it was their fault.
If it wasn't for a small group of us who started claiming about bank charges a number of years back and took cases to appeal (yes I spent many days in appeal courts) then the banks would still have their say on what charges they apply to accounts.
These phones are not durable enough and should come with added protection as standard and pre worn customers of the issue.
At the moment the only replies have been from people with an entirely different phone to yours.0 -

I know people with cracked iphone screens, plenty of them
given the sales though it doesnt seem an issue
with the sales figures quoted,do you dont think it would be more prominent?
My OHs mum has an S4,she cracked the screen dropping it
I have dropped my HTC One and nothing happened. Better built or just luck of how it lands?0 -

I have two HTC phones in my family. The two teenagers have them. They are robust and well built. They've dropped them on a number of occasions. Great phone.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

But the same glass and frame.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

If you turned up in court trying to compare the two they would wipe the floor with you.
No. I'm not comparing the two. I'm simply saying that the Galaxy S3 Mini is the same glass and frame but smaller. Both have the same Gorilla glass.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

You don't seem to understand that your evidence needs to be specific to the S3 Mini. Many phones have gorilla glass, but they are irrelevant because they are not the same phone.
Edit: Have Samsung confirmed that the Mini has Gorilla glass? The Corning website only lists the S3.0 -
So you are saying they are the same but different? :rotfl:
A couple of comics. I like. Keeps me on my toes. I don't recall ever saying that I will be using evidence regarding the Samsung Galaxy S3. I'm merely saying that it is the same glass and frame and they are having problems so there is no reason to believe that the same issue can't happen to the smaller version.
YES - the Galaxy S3 Mini has the same glass and frame.
Come on guys come up with a defence so I can sharpen up.
So far we have
'Well millions have bought the product without a fault' - hence there mustn't be a manufacturer fault, even though there are many reports of screens cracking without dropping etc.
'Are mobiles not meant to be durable your honour?'
Over to you??Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
