Hi all,
Thanks so much for the well wishes - really appreciated. I'll admit that I have done very little this weekend, thought we were doing quite well to keep it civil until he was out drinking with his family last night so came home pretty plastered and I ended up with several hours switching between screaming at me all the names under the sun and crying at me to change my mind. Not sure which is worseHe apologised this morning and I've been out most of the day but not really loving the 'have to stay in the same house' thing at the moment.
Anyway, going to try and get myself in gear this week. Start on the general fabbing again, also need to organise the house. We've agreed he's going to stay in the old living room as it's bigger and I'm going to swop the spare room into a new living room and have two rooms - right now it's got a lot of stuff dumped in it though so needs sorting and clearing.
Glad to hear you all seem to be making progress. Take care x0 -
Well everyone, what a fab day! I had my hair cut yesterday and there was lots of lovely sunshine today, what a nice change
Pod, so sorry to hear about your relationship ending, and your OH bullying you. I ended my last relationship (of 4 years) because my OH went from screaming at me for things which weren't my fault - he would have a bad day at work and use me as an emotional punchbag - to begging me not to leave. But I did, and never looked back!! Hard as it was to adjust to saying that I was 'single' again, it was much, much better than putting up with his temper tantrums. Can you start something new where you can go on your own, and make new friends that know you as you? Mine was dancing but you could do a walking group, church, am dram etc; I do believe lesson's saying about you will never look good enough to someone who doesn't love you, very wise.
Sorry to hear about your hubby's tests Sweet, I hope you get the results promptly and of course that it's good news.
PQ - if you Google 'colour analysis' and your local area you should find someone who can help! I wasn't sure whether to go for it from the quizzes online, but to be fair it was very helpful, although I do regret binning a few of the items she told me to get rid of.
Floss, hello and good luck with your fabbing! Do Matalan do good stuff for walking in general? I could do with new walking trousers, but don't want to spend loads as I will of course be much slimmer soon (ahem - hopefully!) and will be able to buy a smaller size.
Well done on your 5K run WW! I've been doing 15 - 20 minutes and finding that hard enough. Why does running never get easier for me?! Seriously, I find it dispiriting that it's always so hard. Save a place at Fatcamp for me Kiwi!!Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
Hello all,
Thank you for Kind thoughts, fingers crosse tests will be all good it's just the waiting I hate! The medical profession have you doing plenty of that... It's frustrating!!
Hope you are all well and are continuing to fab!! Mine has been pure rubbish at the weekend but up at sat/sun at 6 am for work so too tired0 -

I haven't seen any other walking stuff in there - the socks were an accidental find, and I always have 3 or 4 new pairs stashed away in case they suddenly stop selling them! I tend to look in my local Trespass store or pick things up from either charity shops or outlet centres.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Just a quickie - been manic few days although I did manage to catch some of that glorious sunshine yesterday.
I have been reading and keeping up with you all though.
Sweetcheeks - just wanted to say sorry to hear about your husband. Hope all is ok. Must be such a worry - fingers crossed.
Floss - good to see you back. - When do you become officially retired. I'm sure you'll love it.
I know everyone says this when they retire but I don't know how I found the time to work - although I guess my new "career" is taking up a lot of my time right now.
Fabwise ?? - well let's just say I'm sitting here my clothes covered in plaster dust, my hair is a disgrace and my hands are sore, and covered in scratches and small cuts, and my nails are jagged. I didn't even have time or the energy to clean myself up a bit before I went to see OH - just got back.
Needless to say he didn't bat an eyelid at my dishevelled state.
Tomorrow I'm meeting with my dad's team with a view to putting the final touches in place ready for his move into sheltered accommodation and will have a day off. I shall fab myself up in the morning.
Time for supper and then an early night.0 -

Not quite retiring yet LL, even though I have a 0 birthday in a few weeks!
I need to maintain a certain income level as we signed ourselves up to the mortgage wagon for 20 years last November by buying the house next-door so we can knock through - bizarrely, even here in Blackpool it was cheaper than moving & buying somewhere bigger that had the rooms we want.
My plans are to build up my caking business, do a couple of bookkeeping courses and supplement my redundancy with temp /contract work...fingers crossed it all works out and the sums add up!
Am off for a quick shower & hairwash - meeting my BF for lunch today, we haven't seen each other since December and I've still got her Christmas & birthday presents to give her! Before then I need to decorate some cupcakes to give to the girls at my beauticians - I'm hoping it will generate some business!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Floss... That sea like a great idea.. Everyone loves cakes!!
I hope this works out..
Also building through into house next door seems exciting... Keep us posted on this.
Hope everyone on is doing great fabbing.... I'm getting my manicure done tonight with my usual gel polish for 3 weeks so quite excited about that always cheers me up0 -
Sorry Floss - I misunderstood - I thought VR meant retirement not redundancy - silly me.
Knocking through next door sounds fun - lots of nice space to fill!
Got a busy day planned today but am feeling soooo stiff and achey this morning so a nice long soak to loosen up and then some gentle yoga to get my body moving.
I must get my hair cut, I must get my hair cut, I must get…...:o0 -
Booked in for a protein treatment for my hair tomorrow evening. I need to get this damn colour out of my hair this weekend so I'm trying to top up the condition before then.No more goo hoarding!
