Never got away early yesterday :( No luxurious afternoon around the charity shops pour moi. Sad times.

Mr M completed some big projects at work over recent days, so we had a cheap and cheerful dinner out to celebrate as we won't see each other much over the weekend (more work, meh).

Spending diary/piggybank budgets all uptodate & looking ok. The money I allocate to each account seems to be at the right level so feeling [STRIKE]smug[/STRIKE] happy about that.

Not much else to report, it's just work work work at the moment. Will be happy when payday rolls round I daresay. :p

Glad the last two days are done and dusted! Work! People! All

Happy to be home, bratwurst and veg stew eaten for tea, going to watch a film in a bit. :T

Hoping to spend a good bit of time tomorrow cracking on with self employed stuff, can't wait :D

An hour aerobics today :j I need to make daily exercise non-negotiable, it's such a quick fix to a healthy mind AND body, it's mad not to make time for it.

:www: MFW Wonderment: Onepolled, worked (and didn't quit :o), ate up leftovers and scraps kicking about for various snacks & meals.

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: arriving back at home, reading cookbooks, lazy mornings.

:heartsmil Burrow Building: reading KonMari again to strengthen my resolve to rid the house of superfluous items (it's so nice living in a clearer environment).

Good luck with the exercise Pearla, that's something I've been trying to do since the beginning of the year. It really does make a huge difference. Any luck with the weights?

Greent, the wanted ad for the cones utterly slayed me. :rotfl: I'm not going to forget that story in a hurry. :D Do you know what they wanted them for?

Actually, I have a degree of separation to a good traffic cone story - my brother once used one as a Christmas tree. :rotfl:

I found out afterwards that they wanted them to block off a parking area in front of a house for a hearse - they live close to a school and their road gets used for parking on the school run. So an unusual request, but a good purpose for them - no idea what they did with them afterwards, though - I haven't seen them being offered on any freegle sites! :D

I literally don't know how I always manage to write such lengthly nonsense! :rotfl:

PS. Flipping heck, forgot to say I got two bottles of fizzy stuff from M&S for £2.50 each! Haven't seen them that cheap in an age (peach bellini and kir royale), and haven't drunk them since they were cheap... years and years ago. Now happily stowed in the fridge for a Me Party one night. :rotfl:

Love the Muppets!! :D (Also love bellini and kir royale.. - may have to check out if it's still that cheap! (have seen some in Ald! but think it's a little dearer.:D)

Found me a cafe with free wifi so popping on to say that I've knitted 2 full monsters - boy are they big! NOt sewn up and stuffed as I was NOT going to bring stuffing with me! Currently working on a 1-piece knitted dog. The picture shows it is made up of separate pieces - mostly oblong, so dd and I have wored out haow to do it as 1 piec, except for the ears. So far I've blanket stitched some of it in a contrasting colour and it's looking pretty good.

Have a great time working on your self-employed fun stuff xx

Oops, not bought them yet. :o:o I will though, I will. Maybe with all this overtime money :rotfl:

I'm slowly managing to do more aerobics, I wish I could do more but it really is hard with full time work and keeping the house in shape. :o Shall persevere! I feel so much better when I do it!

New fitbit arrives on Thursday though, so there will be no choice but to up my game then :p

What a life those cones have led... they'll surely end up on another adventure one day. It's a shame they haven't got a tracking device. :rotfl:

Your advice came at the right time, MCI! I've started deleting things off the To Do list without doing them... something had to be done!

Definitely going to be a bit more fierce about protecting my down time from now on.

That's a serious amount of knitting you've done, apple! :T Sounds fab :T I still owe you those photos - finally took them and shall try and send over asap!

Feeling like I've made some excellent progress with the self employed bits I've managed to complete here and there over the past while... it's finally moving forwards :j
