Beware, newgirly, you will never ever get it out of your head. :rotfl:

    FREEBIE ALERT!
Mini-missions For Simplicity from the lady that runs the Be More With Less blog is free on Amazon from 25-27 March. :j

I thought some folks on here that were into decluttering/simplifying their lives might be interested. :)

MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library

Am giving myself a bit of a rest/easier day today so I can approach the rest of the week feeling a bit more normal. Might crack on with more intense worky things these evening, but I think another list is in order for this afternoon....

    Purple = done.
    • clean bathroom :o
    • gather freecycle/offer friends things together
    • meal plan!
    • get some surveys done
    • more laundry if there's space on the drier
    • dishwasher
    • do some life folder stuff (keeping track of priorities)
    • yoga

Remembered to take freezer meal out for tea, can't wait for easy peasy lasagne later. :)

That was me yesterday, Lois. And will probably be me again tomorrow. This 'getting things done' is a mere blip. :rotfl:

I'm all surveyed out! Started a gazillion, but only qualified for two and now I remember why I usually ignore Nectar ones: took forever for virtually nothing, would probably be better to spend my time on things that guarantee a higher rate of return.

Ebay stuff ends tonight, there have been a few bids, here's hoping for a flurry as they finish.

:www: MFW Wonderment: along with the above, entered a bunch of competitions lurking in inbox, 1Polled, used up odds & ends for lunch & snacks. My free dishwasher tabs for product testing arrived. :j ETA: printed out THIS calendar for myself, hoping I can use it in my folder instead of a diary which'll save me a wad of cash. *cross fingers*

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: books, books, books, books, books!

:heartsmil Burrow Building: feeling a lot more normal again today and inched forward some general bits & bobs that should make life more lovely.

Continued with the inbox decluttering, I have under 40 emails in there now! Never thought I'd see the day! Shows you how much of it was utter rubbish and easily deletable though - started with around 1000 the other day, and that's with keeping vaguely on top of things, urgh. Must keep my eyes open for ways to reduce the incoming fluff and nonsense.

The one good thing about having a clear inbox is that I realised that I need to reply/write to some friends, and also now feel like I have time a and space to do it. Sent a few little messages through to reconnect with some people I haven't been in contact with in a while. :)

Well done, especially on the inbox. They attract clutter like tv screens attract dust!

My, you have been busy P*M!

I don't know how to do that selecting multiple quotes thing, so my comments are as follows:

:( Hope the hip gets sorted soon, best to visit GP sooner rather than later. Good news that you can hang on to the shoes though!

:) Look how productive you're being! I like that you're going for purple = done, the whole strike through thing makes things impossible to read when there's lots of it, I think!

:( Sorry that Mr. M had hassle over the job opportunity that wasn't, hopefully a better one will be along shortly!

:D Many thanks for the freebie book alert! Have bagged mine and it's waiting for me on my virtual bookshelf (which needs dusting like everything else around here)!

:( Sorry that worky business is casting clouds in your days and creeping into your evenings, I hope you catch a break with your other projects soon.

:) Kate Bush is one of those once-in-a-lifetime things ... the OPs will still be there in the wings afterwards, but this opportunity's such a rare one.

:( I totally agree about surveys, I've given up that method of trying to get a bit of extra on the side, it's too frustrating!

I've probably missed something but I'm sure it'll catch up with me later! Hope the rest of your week's a little calmer! x

Glad to hear it, was just about to send a message to make sure you'd seen it. ;) Thought it would be your cup of tea :D

Tell me about it, and it's my birthday then too (great excuse to go all out!) ;)

Tried another survey this morning but got screened out again, argh. I usually get through on a fair few, I'm determined to get to my next £15 on VO, I'm so close!
