If you need anything with your son or just to talk message me and I'll send my number over. Sometimes it Good just to offload :-)
Thank you so much Dawn.
Yesterday wasn't too bad, except during PE he took it on himself to sit under a nearby tree (because he was hot) whilst the teacher was explaining something. Because of this he got sent indoors and he felt very aggrieved by this so then refused to do afterschool cricket because its the same teacher and he feels he was overly punished.
I tried my best to explain that he couldn't have special treatment over the others and he had to do what the teacher asked. He seems to let a small issue fester and ruin his whole day
I have started working through a self esteem book with him that gives you daily challenges etc so hopefully that might have a smidgeon.
I might contact you when I have some spare time Dawn, would be nice to speak to someone who is in a similar situation. xxxxGlad your getting your spa treatments again xxFab news about the spa treatments

Morning Diary
Just a quick morning post before I go off to my cleaning job. Annoyingly my 2nd spa treatment of the week was cancelled so only earnt £35 from them this week.
It is such an annoying set up there, unless I have nothing else on, whenever they ask if I can do a treatment it tends to clash with my other jobs and then if I ever actually manage to get one booked in, it then ends up being cancelled . Really wish they could just employ me for a couple of mornings per week and schedule all the treatments for then, it would be so much simpler.
(although I do understand that is it a lot cheaper for the Spa to use adhoc therapists)
We have finally finished our little extension apart from some internal doors which can wait, it is attached to the kitchen and after we finished decorating it then made the kitchen look scruffy so we have redecorated that as well. I am just repainting the dresser and larder unit and also want to paint the kitchen chairs, so lots to keep me busy.
Ds hasn't had a day without something happening in school this week, believe it or not a Year 6 child bit him yesterday!!. I would so love a day without an incident but it just doesn't look like i'm going to ever get one. Trying to not let it get me down.
I had to have a word with the teachers on Monday evening as I have been getting fed up with them coming out at school pick up and in front of all the other mothers explaining Ds's latest mishap/issue . There is quite a nasty bunch of mothers at school and I just know they will be crowing that the teacher has to keep coming out to speak to me AGAIN!. So I asked if they could possibly call me instead as Ds & I could do without the gossip mongers having a field day on what Ds may have done.
Apparently Ds is doing really well in class and is working hard, he just doesn't do so well out in the playground.
I am in a group with some friends called the Jam Jar Challenge and we have all put ideas of things we would like to do but never get round to it, into a jam jar and then every month we pull one out and try to do it within that month. Tonight we have a Painting lesson, which should be fun.
there is some super scary things in the jam jar, such as Horse riding, kayaking, shooting hehe, we will draw another one out after our evening tonight. Wonder what it might be???
Financially all the bills are covered for this week and I am trying my hardest to put away a little each week to cover the mortgage and maybe help get me back on time with the payments. I am abit worried about hubbys work loads though as not sure what he has booked in to go and do next week .
Self employment is so SCARY.
Oh well, had better go and mop up cat sick and clean toilets for £20.. Speak laters xxx

Hi Steph I am sorry everything is so tough at the minute, I wish the spa would get their act together too. The jam jar challenges sound brilliant.0

Hi Steph, just wanted to say hang in there through all the "hiccups". you are doing a great job coping with them all. The Jam Jar Challenge sounds like so much fun.0

Oh Steph sorry to hear about DS having trouble at school, I've had it myself with both my 2 this week but they have been the culprits... although they haven't bitten anyone and actually DD2 was only trying to do the right thing but got shot down.
Hope the treatments sort themselves out xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Diary
Sorry been absent again, this time of year is just relentless as there is so much to do both inside & outside, plus my part-time jobs its just non stop.
All has gone quiet at school so far, Ds seems to be getting on with his mates better and all is good. (so far) lets hope it lasts.
I am managing to avoid the mothers at school which is always a healthy thing to do, their constant !!!!!ing and backstabbing makes me feel physically and mentally ill. All quiet with them so far too so its been lovely.
My inlaws are moving into a council bungalow as they are struggling with private renting costs as FIL is too old to work much now. They are both going to need ALOT of assistance in getting ready for and actually moving so I expect life to get even more crazy trying to fit them in as well.
I am helping hubby mix cement today , and then Dd has Art club and Ds has cricket practice and then we need to meet inlaws at their new bungalow as they are getting the keys today and want us to look at it. Not overly sure how all of this is going to fit in and when we are going to eat but just another crazy day.
Hubby has finally got a date for his operation - 23rd July. So good to have a concrete date to work with. First thing he complained about was that he would miss the village golf competition . He cancelled the June operation date because of a football match, there is no way he is getting out of this date!!.
All steady on the financial front, mortgage is paid, just a couple of debts left to sort for June.
My 40th birthday is on the 2nd July, but I really cant see us doing much as both car & van MOT's are also due that week.
Hoping the weather will be nice so we can maybe just go to the beach for a fish & chip supper together.
Enjoy this sunny day, will try to update again tomorrow xxx0 -
Hi Diary,
Paid last of June's debts today, so all sorted. I might be wrong but it is looking like i might get a double Childrens Tax Credit payment this month. certainly hope so as hubby's van is in for its MOT tomorrow and he has listed quite a few problems with it.
Then next week the car is in for it's MOT and I know there is a worn tyre and also something wrong with the ball joints. Not sure how much that will be or if it will be an MOT failure.
These two MOT's and hubbys operation, I can't help but feel I just want July over with before it even starts.
August onwards I plan to start hitting the debt hard again as been stalling badly this year. Still got 8k to kill off and I am 40 in two weeks time. Kind of failed in my mission haven't I.
I have decided I will still be "Debt free by 40" up until the day before my 41st birthday, so have technically got another year. Although I REALLY don't want to spend a year paying it off.
August on wards I am going to try to think of as many ways to make money as possible and will also enter some challenges.
I am preparing myself for walking the children home from school next week on wards if the car fails its MOT. Think hubby could drop them to school and I would just have to walk to collect them. It's a 2 mile walk so not too hideous. At least its summer.
I would rather do that than add to the debt. I have spent the last 18 months killing it off, I do not plan on adding to it under ANY circumstances.
Ok not much else to report, off to check out some diaries xx0 -
Just hold, the thought that the holidays start soon so wouldn't be for long ?
Couldn't the friend whose son you drop off collect them as a favour.Sealed pot challenge 822
