Hi Happy birthday
still following your thread I think you have done really well
look at the bigger picture how much have you paid of so far well over £12,000 more with the interest .I think most of your debts are interest free now ? it really will be worth it when you pay it off .even though your extra earnings are small they are actually worth twice as much because you have not taken that money out of the bank (if you see what I mean?)
Also the value of your house has increased and you have paid some of the mortgage off .
perhaps you need to go back to your old system of paying one debt at a time ? well done your so close to freedom don't give up now . x0 -
Thank you so much ladies, reading your messages this morning was much appreciated.
Been a busy few days, was naughty and we all went out for Pizza Hut and Bowling as a family on Thursday night and the we went down to the beach last night for some crabbing & fishing.
So it has been a lovely few days, I had some amazing presents from friends and I now have two bottles of posh perfume, which is the first for me in about 3 years :T. I love perfume but it is always such a extravagance.
Got a free meal out tonight and then tomorrow my best friend is taking me out for a meal and the cinema, although she spent so much on me with presents I feel I must at least offer to pay for my meal.
So all in all its been a lovely few days with more to come
Super conscious of the money front though, just hoping it all comes together. I am sure it will all come together somehow.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes xx0 -
You deserve all the love that has been shown to you.
I look forward to watching all you achieve within the next 12 months.
I KNOW you will conquer all this debt, and have a savings pot at the end of the 12 months.
Enjoy your weekend, you deserve it.0 -

Thanks Kelpie and abba
Not a whole lot to report today.
Bills covered for all of this week, hubby's work is less than busy atm, but we seem to be stumbling by with little jobs here and there.
We turned down a meal out for one of hubby's friends tonight, it was at a super expensive restaurant and with a sitter as well, we figured it would cost around £130 . We really wanted to go but decided it would be really silly as work isn't very thick on the ground and the pending operation coming up fast.
We have had a lovely few days of birthday celebrations which is way more than we usually do, so best to quit while we are ahead.
Got to get hubby's accounts finalised and do his tax return asap, as I can't fill in the childrens tax credit forms until that is done and they have to be in by the end of July otherwise payments stop . I am not far off finishing just needs a couple of days attention.
Children are on the run down to the end of school, two more weeks :T. All clubs have now finished so I am hoping school demands will be low and we can quietly sail through to the end of term.
Can't wait for the summer holidays, got lots of cheapy ideas to do with the children.
Think I might make a coffee and look at those accounts. I have to go over to the inlaws this afternoon and help start packing or sorting out their hoarded house to get them ready for moving. Not totally sure where to start, really dreading it as I would just hire a big skip but FIL's girlfriend is a massive hoarder and I just know she won't want to part with much. Trouble is they are moving from a four bedrooms private rented bungalow to a council two bed bungalow so there is no way they are going to fit even half of what they currently have piled up
The next couple of weeks will be very interesting and stressful.
Hope you all have a good week ahead xxx0 -
Just an idea, but maybe there will be things at the inlaw's house you might be able to sell. That might help them and you.
I am sure you can come up with a great idea for both of you to make a little money.0
