Work Programme providers refer more claimants for sanctioning than JC staff, and ES19s are not issued by WP providers.
But isn't the topic under discussion about the procedure where people are late for Job Centre appointments, not something involving other providers?

You asked for a link, I gave it and you didn't bother to read the stuff there. You haven't had time to look, read, consider it and reply.

    Typical.

Sorry sweetie, I was too busy reading this....

Interview with a Job Centre Advisor: sanction targets & corruption revealed

A slightly different picture than the one being painted in here, and I actually did read the link, I just couldn't be bothered responding to you, you live in forums..I don't.

Because two people who claim to work at the JC state that correct procedures are always followed, does not mean they are. There are various reports from JC staff stating that procedures are often not followed properly, sanctioning targets exist, and staff are encouraged to sanction a minimum amount of claimants per week.

The massive, recent increase in the number of sanctions issued reinforces those claims to some extent.

It's easy enough to refer a claimant who is late for an appointment as a failure to attend, whether that is at the JC or WP.

    Amen.

Here it seems they just copy and paste from the manual, but now the real picture is starting to develop, it's quite disturbing.

Story's are emerging and more will follow (some of us already knew). If anyone wants a truthful realistic answer to any questions re: JC / WP / sanctions etc, you can ask someone directly via twitter who doesn't wear rose tinted glasses and delivers it how it is.

But they didn't say that. They said what SHOULD happen.

In fact one of them actually advised an appeal if it hadn't been done properly.

You're usually on the ball...I'm surprised you didn't see that.

As for "claiming to work at the JC" is it also okay to doubt a poster saying they get sanctioned merely for being 8 minutes late or doubt someone's allegation that they didn't get a form or that a job vacancy had closed? Or are we now in the game of doubting always one "side" but never the other?

I think we're all aware of what SHOULD happen, better to focus on what really IS happening.

Weird, why would you want to come back to a post and add that to it a hour and 10 minutes later ?

Anyway.... that's quite a desperate argument yet again, and also shows you are really not seeing the full picture.
Try taking of your DWP tinted glasses and give them a polish, your vision is impaired.
