Nothing done off the list (I don't think I hlooked yet)

Then went to morrisons and bought turkey, dog food, loo rolls and lots of other bits, all we should need to go shopping for now is fruit, milk and bread ( i bought fruit at the market too) I feel like we are now ready for Christmas I just need to get OH a gift but I am going to town for that in the morning and then to my sisters for a catch up.
I have also wrapped two gifts that had been missed when OH did wrapping the other day haha they look awful am glad its just going to get ripped off.0 -

Duly sorted....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Evening - hope everyone is well.
Thanks for the lists...I've been doing what I can, when I can and the house is looking better for me coming back. I'm also getting quite good at delegating.
I finally sat down and wrapped all the Christmas presents last night. I'm only a few short for DS but have absolutely nothing for his birthday next month. I'll worry about that next month!
Working 9 till 9 tomorrow but will do bits as and when...the plus side from working from home.
Hugs to you all xx0 -
I am in but also still not well - seems to be a lot of it about.
Sending get well flylady dust your way xHoney_Bear wrote: »I've run out of time on the Christmas card front, and very happy about it. I'm emailing and messaging everyone I want to pass on merry things to, and I will be writing a few, but this year I'm taking an axe to the old list.
Very liberating.
I did that last year, reduced my list by about half, just done the posting ones, down to 15 now from over 40 in years gone by and always looking to remove a few morePenelope_Penguin wrote: »How are your boys?
They are good thanks, looking forward to school holidays. DS2 in Year 13 and working so hard and DS3 has done really well with the transition to secondary school but is finding the day with the bus a bit long; he is eagerly awaiting the start of the cricket nets in January. DS1 is his laid back self, meandering through life.
Mudders - lovely to see you back home for Christmas.
Looking forward to lots of absent flylady friends popping in during the next week
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Going slightly off-piste with today's list but pleased that I can see the carpet in my main Room of Doom. All child's clothes, sorted into ages and seasons, photographed and bagged ready for selling.
OH is starting to get on board with flying, over two weeks in and the house is generally looking much tidier and is becoming easier to clean!0 -
Tonight, I have had to deal with world war 3 in my Dining Room, (the same Dining Room, which as some of you Flyladies may recall I painted in the Spring and at the same time cooking dinner and burning my arm)
I have had to wash 2 walls, most of the skirting, delicately dabbing at dry clean only curtains and picking up crumbs of soya mince and half eaten fajitas out of the new carpet.....tonight I don't care about the moral rights and wrongs of vegans vs vegetarians, respect the food on your plate and the person who trawls the supermarket sticker gun person to give you a tasty and affordable dinner. One very cross Skinty tonight.
The whole of the downstairs has been hoovered again, included sofas and cushions which have now been reassembled.
I have had to speak to EX at length about DD3's incident tonight. DS and DD4 settled to sleep, and then spent 1 hour slapping peroxide on DD2's roots....before she puts the top colour on herself. If there is one speck of blue anywhere it shouldn't be, I will be having the Mother of all hissy fits (there is perm lotion on standby to counteract it, but it is not the point)
Going to have some ME time looking for dead relatives online, as this has been sorely neglected for a while.
Might try Listy again tomorrow, before I have to take DS swimming, and then DD2 to her old college awards evening. ho hum
Who knows, a more positive Skinty might log on tomorrow:oThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Awake early again! Got a bit of a cold and a sore throat but its going around. Busy day ahead. Vets with Ozzy. Then to cousins with present. Back over to SW then take presents to friends.
I don't need much for over Xmas as at DDs Xmas Day and at her ex in laws Boxing Day. All card writing done. All presents wrapped. Doing the food shopping with DD on Saturday which Im not looking forward to. I don't like crowds.
Dailies will get done before I go anywhere.
Hugs where needed.0 -
Going to have a baking day today. Got most of my household jobs done yesterday and I can almost see the bottom of the ironing basket, well that is until the next lot of washing is done. I nearly had kittens yesterday morning when I accidentally knocked the iron off the ironing board and it crashed onto the tiled floor below. It's okay though I think.
Have flying fun ladies. Just think, a week today ...... :rotfl:January 2014 GC: £483.86/£580.00

This week is so stupidly busy, I barely have time to catch my breath
So just trying to keep on top of the dailies. I did manage to catch up on my ironing last night but that's about it.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more…0 -
Hi all - just popping in to say have a wonderful day and get well soon to the poorly people.
Won't be doing the lists today as we are having a morning out! Car service and MOT so will go out in the courtesy car - urghh!!! This pm have promised to bake for DH work and have been putting it off. Also had a cake request from a former colleague so may do batch baking. After school am crafting with dear neighbour's little one. Let's see how much glue we can get over ourselves whilst mum does other things!!!!
Back with you all tomorrow for the last week before Santa comes. Take care all xxJuly 16 £95/£200
