I'm ready for my bed physically, mentally my brain is buzzing like a hive of bees being carried by Tigger! :(

A semi successful shop today. Got a new top & trousers for Xmas, I just need some form of blouse to go over the vest top. DD declared it didn't suit me, my response :p:p:p Told her there is no chance of me colouring my hair before the Carol service on Wednesday evening, I have too much to do. Her response "I'll just deny you're my mum" I said "Fine, I'll make a show of you then" :D:D :rotfl::rotfl: She then apologised, insisted she was joking and loves me really :rotfl:

I bought DD some earrings from a Cl@ires and they're broken when I got them home  Some of the stones have fallen out so I need to go back into town tomorrow to get those sorted. Its obvious they've not even been off the card so I'm hoping it won't be problem. Then I have to go out to another Mr A's but I'm struggling to work out how to get there from town without having to come all the way out again and then jumping another bus. Stupid local transport websites have got me going round in circles.

Got a text earlier from ex asking for me to remind him about the carol concert. He is extremely busy in work so I'm adding that to my list here. I then brought up the fact that he has DD's main Xmas gift (bought between us). Asked him what he wanted to do with regards to her opening it. He wasn't sure. I put a couple of options to DD and the plan is that he'll bring it here Boxing Day so she can open it with both of us (He's asked me to remind him about that as well :rotfl:). I can't wait to see her face but I may be wearing earplugs that day as she has an excited scream pitch that is like nails down a blackboard.

Think I need to start winding DD up a little more about her gift, its really annoying her that its in her dads and not here. I've already suggested that the whole of ex's family have contributed, that its really really expensive and there is no way I could have affording it on my own. So she's guessed a 'tablet' or a trip somewhere. Considering she found out that she was going on holiday to Disneyland Paris with ex's family last year when she got a new suitcase, then got a new laptop for her birthday from her dad (bought through work) I'm not surprised she's guessing them :rotfl: I think next I'll go for size, making out its so big I couldn't hide it here which is why her dad has it ;) :rotfl: I have 9 whole days to wind her up :j

    Tuesday:
Text customer re: question from weekend.
Find contact details for customers with orders currently outstanding.
Xmas shop (town for returns, Mr A, where ever else I can fit in!)
    Update accounts
    Pay CCs

    Wednesday

Ooops really should have gone to bed ages ago. I have finished ordering presents though, just hope the final bits arrive and there are a couple of bits to collect, one on the way to the farm shop so I'll tie that together and one my sis passes on her way to and from work so I'll see if she can get that for me. Need to remind DS1 that he needs to go and get his Nan's present.

Right off to bed for me. See you all in the morning.

  • Good morning ladies! I need some motivation to get the last few things done before The Big Day, so thought here would be the best place.

Thanks to Dusty for the lists.
