Hmmm looks like Ollie has other plans regarding the vets - he has just polished off a bowl of proper cat food, sat and washed himself and is now asleep under the bed. One very alert cat.... Cat's who'd have them

Ds2 is taking steps on his own, 6 is his record so far, it would be lovely if he was walking by christmas/his birthday :D
:T Well done that young man! You do realise, don't you, that having spent so much time encouraging him to walk and talk, you will then spend the next decade and a half telling him to sit down and shut up.:rotfl:

I'm in as much as the lupus and painful joints will allow this week; though I do NOT need to join the ironing challenge, as Mr LW clears what little we bother ironing every Sunday.:A

Just for a change, I'm going to see what I can actually make of today's official list.:o
Monday Downstairs (minus the kitchen) including Rooms of Doom
    15 minutes .....

Declutter floors even if it's just into a box or binbag to hide away. Done; all the floor clutter was actually 5 dog toys, which have gone home with B&C today. Dog hair has also been Dys0ned up (3 cylinders full:eek:).
    30 minutes to spare....

Last minute check on presents - have you got everything? N/A - we don't do presents.
Hover and mop all of downstairs Done, as detailed above (I did the whole bungalow)
    Got an hour....
Dust all dusty areas Done what I can get to with the duster-onna-stick; I'm b*****ed if I'm moving all the [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] tasteful decorations mr LW insisted on putting everywhere.
Straighten Christmas tree 'Tis fine; it's only a tiddly one, sits on my desk.
HHI - especially for those on the challenge N/A - Mr LW cleared it yesterday.

    Extras
Make space for new toys either by storing the old ones away for a while or collecting for charity/ebay/carboot in the New Year N/A

Any decorations you do not want take to the charity shop asap to give them chance to sell. N/A - they're all out on display (see note on Dusting)

Finish writing cards or give up on the idea of sending any :rotfl:All done and posted/delivered except the one for |Mr LW's pal; this will be handed to him when he visits us on Wednesday evening
I need to be on top of everything this week, as our main celebration day is this Saturday, the Winter Solstice; so I plan to try and follow the official lists if I can this week (sshhhh - don't say that too loud, Coyote may be listening!);)

OH has just informed me he has me a few bits for Christmas for me and I have him nothing Aaaaaggghhhh what a pain he is! I thought I was all done my shopping but guess not now! OH has gone to collect DD from school so I am googling like a mad woman.

Most of the list I am going to complete when the kids are asleep that will be quicker and easier.
  • Please include me for this week and also add me to ironing challenge. Thanks x

    Welcome aboard, Wooden Spoon.

OK folks, I'm signing off for the day, as I have some files I need to transfer to the laptop (I'm currently working on the netbook) prior to the consigning of the XP pc to the Great Scrapheap in the Sky. *cries*

The files are being divided between the Windows 7 pc and the laptop, and I have a little bit of fine-tuning of what's going where to finish (bulk done yesterday).

I also want to get my Brain Training done before Mr LW gets home, because he usually speaks to me while I'm in the middle of the exercises if I do it while he's here. *insert exasperation smilie*.:D
