thank you everyong for the lovely chrsitmas cards that arrived this morning

in laws have just left, OH off to the shops to buy a spot of lunch, and I am HHI then I will eat, Hoover and mop..... I need a bath too actually so do the kids, I think that's a after tea job.

Weird weather here too heavy rain then lovely sunshine.

Just stopped for lunch. Not that I was actually doing anything to stop

We have been out in the garden, getting a bit wild and windy. Picked up a load of leaves and filled brown bin. Then slapped a bag of compost on top in the hope it won't blow over - expecting a stormy few days - and make me pick them up again.

Merry Yule, LW and anyone else celebrating today. Summer is on its way :rotfl:

I think it might be a telly afternoon. I have emptied DW while making lunch though. Kitchen needs a bit more attention. DS bedding washed (again ) and I want to do the spare bed tomorrow.

Lt really warm when we came back indoors but I'm cold now now I've sat still for a while. But, CH is only on 16 and we've got the doors open to conservatory, and that heater is on its lowest setting.

Oh dear. DS got a paper cut earlier and now DD is "needing a plaster on now"...

Well, contents of two sheds now in one so the one that was demolished in the storm can now go to the dump. Hopefully, this is the last winter prep in the garden I'll have to do. Just need to read up on planting as I have all my veg seeds now. I just don't know exactly what to do with them.

I've just received a lovely bouquet from my boss as our last day of paid stuff together is Monday so that brought a smile to my face.

Yorkshires are in the oven. Just having a cuppa and will take a break to read the paper. Might fit some flying in from the list by highlighting the TV listings.

Had a late start today, a wash went on, washed up, brought out the ironing board but tiny had other ideas. She is currently asleep on my lap.
Dd1 and dss1 are in the kitchen making a cake. Dss1 called mid week adling if he could stay over friday night, he has enough clothes until tuesday lol. Something tells me his mum wanted some time. Don't know where the other kids are though. The more the merrier I like showing him different things. Last time he stayed he repotted a spider plant and got to take it home.

Christmas cards have arrived thank you from me and Ozzy. Have put them all up.
New bank card has arrived too Im pleased to say.

Got all my jobs done in the house. DD and I didn't stay out long as she is not well. Came back and had lunch.

Time to relax a bit now,

The Yorkshires look like they always do, so no great disaster. I can't actually taste to check as (and I shouldn't say this as I live in Yorkshire) but I don't like them. I'm sure the family will let me know if they're ok.

I'm off out again with the dogs before it gets dark. I feel like I've spent most of today outside but its good to make the most of a sunny day.

Washing happily going around in the machine.

They will taste fine, Jazee, don't worry about that. It's just whenever I've used sr flour they've looked funny x

Have to say, our TiVo box is really coming into its own now keep seeing bits in the TV guide I might want to watch, and putting them all onto record, in case I forget or miss any.

I'm liking this being on holiday and having nowhere to go business

Sadly DD2 has taken the spirit of sharing too far this Christmas and has shared her cold with me....


so my nose is dripping like a tap.


I have downed some parrots, brewed a vat of mulled no added sugar squash ( I know how to live) and am going to sort out me present stash...


I may be gone some time...

I've finished wrapping DDs gifts. I think her stocking may be few items short so I'll have to check that. Just want to make sure she's going to stay upstairs while I do it. Spent 20min looking for her stocking, then realised it was in the clean laundry basket waiting to go upstairs Having a coffee to warm up, and I think I might put White Christmas on while we decorate the tree. These boxes will go from behind the sofa today if I have to stay up until midnight.
