Just got Boxing Day presents down from loft and bopped my hand on the steps bracket thingy. Ouch.
Will wrap them tomorrow when I work out what to do. I've had my kids gifts since July (sale bargains) but it seems the family have changed the value (we do a money in a pot thing) a bit late in the day. Am thinking if I can switch a gift from Santa to being from the family...Bossymoo

Hi all
Waiting for the Strictly final final - hoping either Abbey or Susannah.
The person I have strong feelings for is finally back in the UK (only for xmas though) I can't tell him as he has a girlfriend who he is totally in love with, so I will have to continue admiring him from afar. Really need a kick in the pants over that as it is futile. Oh well.
Flying wise:
Landing & BR hettyed
Bed stripped
WM
Washing hung on indoor line.
HHI
Bed remade with fresh linen.
Wind and rain here tonight - sounds nasty out there. Stay safe all
Have a lovely Saturday night
Deco x0 -
Aww deco, maybe you wouldn't admire him so much if he was available? I'm hoping for Susannah or Natalie.

I know Bossy which is why I feel as doubly stupid for feeling as I do. Must. Get. Over. It. And. Very. Soon.

Well my Mr A order has been finalised, had e-vouchers to apply (I love the price guarantee), ordered a standard fruit cake that DD and I will marzipan/ice/decorate ourselves since I've left it too late to bake one myself (was only £2.98 whereas the cheapest cake ready done that had was £5! :money: ) and I've ordered some alcohol for a change  DD is away from boxing day until New Year and I have a few friends who said they're planning on coming round so refreshments will be called for lol
Now I'm going to put some catch up TV on, and decorate the tree. DD said she doesn't mind me doing it as long as I leave the topper for her to do. Plan is to do the tree including topper so I can see what it looks like, then take the topper off so she can put it on tomorrow :rotfl: I currently have all the decorations I'm planning on using hanging by the hooks on my maiden, or laid out carefully on the tableDD said I should just wrap some tinsel around it and use that instead of a tree :rotfl: I will get this done tonight. I will get this done tonight....
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
