I think I've finished Christmas shopping, I just need to go A1di for a couple of bits, but I'll do that Monday. I don't think I can face shopping tomorrow or Sunday :o The supermarkets here for me are bad enough on a normal weekday, but in the run up to Christmas :eek::eek:

I need to sort out the Mr A delivery for Sunday and wrap DD's gifts tomorrow. Other than that I don't plan on doing much else. :p

Flick through the TV guide and highlight anything you want to watch.

Friday - end of week round up

HHme time - could be your last chance for a while so enjoy
    Got an hour...
    Hoover high traffic areas

Same here - although I've only read back a page or so up to now.
I can't even remember when I last managed to post as I lost the plot with Christmas shopping, exam revision and family stuff.

Some good (DS2's nativity in church yesterday - first time ever I've been able to go) and some bad (failed the exam today, so back to studying after Christmas), but most shopping is done. :T

However, the house is vile, DS2 is recovering from some stomach thing and I'm coming down with something cold-like, so the next few days will be interesting. At least DH has baked jam tarts and mince pies today. If I don't get any more baking done, we have at least some sweet treats. :D

So, I have four days to make a difference to the main rooms - LR, DR of doom, kitchen and bathroom. Also finish present shopping, do food shopping and generally make sure that important stuff gets done.

I'll be back with a list in the morning.

    Morning all

DD decluttered to work; she'd to be there for 7. Have done a couple of washloads and put stuff through the drier.

I plan to clean and clear today (mostly clear, I fear).

I need to clean bathroom, do some decluttering in DS's room (which wasn't really ready for his return) to see if I can fill one of the wardrobes with e bay packing; then I can clear the floor in there, then he can unpack his clothes into the other wardrobe, which is currently unreachable
    bathroom
    kitchen
    living room

    Morning all.

Valli, glad you got your priorities right last night, how was meadowhell?

And Lozzy, yes I have woken up full of the joys of everything. Hope everyone else has too. I've the weekend to myself to do what I want, but first the listy for today:

Finish making batch of Yorkshires - now mine are now quite good after my spell in Yorkshire trying different recipes, but do you think that if I use SR flour instead of plain that they will rise even more???

Make up loads of soda stream so I don't have to spend money on soft drinks
    Wash up
    Hoover & mop through house
    Walk dogs

and then anything else I feel like doing from last night's longer list.

Hope everyone has a great day and that anyone celebrating the Yule thingy (esp LW) has fun.

    Morning everyone.

Went to Mr As at 7am. Got our last bits and pieces. They were collecting for our local food bank so put a few bits in there.

DD coming up as there are festivities on our main street today. Just decluttering breakfast and will have a whizz round. Got one last present to wrap and that's it all done. DD taking rest of pressies down with her for Santa.

    Cat stuff
    Dailies.
    Check if bedding is dry.

    Hugs,spoons, and sticks where needed.
  • Morning all

We went out last night, it was a lot of fun, the band we went to see were… OK, but their drummer was a bit poor. Tbh I think that why DH wanted to go, his last band split in the summer after "musical differences" and he has itchy sticks to get playing again.

I'm thinking about having a small hangover but hoping I can chase it away with a fresh pot of coffee.

Need to get DD's presents wrapped today and have a general vac/wipe/tidy throughout.

Best of luck to those of you who are braving the shops today!
  • Morning all - only 9:30 and so far I have decluttered Ald* at 8 -car park full and folks queueing for it to open!, hairdressers, bank - but found a 20 in my purse so not needed, local butchers for chicken and sausages and order for next Saturday, M n S to find the coleslaw still not long enough in date so will need to go in on Monday.

We are just having a coffee to warm up and then will have a recce at what is left on the list. Perhaps will find time to declutter a couple of films off the skybox to make room for Christmas recordings !:o

Feeling very organised and ready this year - even DH is saying so!!!

Have a great weekend everyone. xx
