Lw you are strictly off list and on light duties until after your weekend celebrations, I do not want you too poorly to enjoy your special day - that is an order from her in charge, no nonsense leader and her mate AF!
Take a leaf out of my book and have extended tea breaks! I have just got the towels in off the line and will wash up after my cuppa. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Work decluttered. I have hung the last load of washing on the airer and the peggy things for yer biggie smallsGoing to dust the LR, our BR and the halls then put my feet up for the evening. Hoping I won't nod off on the sofa at 8.30 as I have for the past two nights. One more day to go…
Feel better soon, Mrs LW, I'd listen to Dusty if I were you, coz it sounds like she means business :cool:0 -

Dailies done
Washing done
Had a huge tidy in the living room. All paper and cards put away. It's beginning to look a lt like Christmas.
DD and I went to Mr As and it wasn't too bad.
Cat has forgiven me as he has been very affectionate.0 -

DGD2 was no trouble at all and is heaps better after lots of Granny cuddles
Dental check-up decluttered, more shopping done, but not much else. We have to go back to 1kea now to change the extra bookcase shelves which are the wrong size - too deep
Decluttering the study will have to wait until tomorrow now
GWS vibes to LW.
Glad to hear that your DD1's house application is going through, pigpen.
Thief-catching vibes for Mumto5
Many thanks to Secret Santa for my gift. I don't open any presents until Christmas Day so will put it under the tree when we finally get the tree in place :rotfl:0 -
Well I am not a 100% sure what I have been doing with myself but my days just seem to be gone before I know it, easy spagbol for tea and hopefully a more productive flying day tomorrow.
I hope we are all well.0 -
Just a quickie as I am running out the door!
Skinty, try flash with bleach spray or astonish mould remover on the hairdye, they're much more effective than neat bleach on shifting semi stains. Also, had your DD done a vinegar rinse on her hair? 10% white vinegar to water, use it as a final rinse and do not wash off with water. It minimises transfer and makes your hair lovely and soft and shiny. The vinegary smell disappears when the hair is dry so no fear of smelly like a chippy :rotfl:
Well versed in dyeing with semis, see my pic <--
Sadly these are permanent hair dyes that she buys from abroad.....very difficult to get a permanent blue hair dye here unless you got to a salon (many moons ago she used R1che D1rections which are semi and those I could get off with Fl@sh and elbow grease if I got to them quick enough)
I discovered she took all my best make up and green tint concealer last night as (until the top layers of skin wear away) she has cerise red streaks down the middle of her back, neck, shoulders, ears and face from rinsing her hair in the shower and the stain clung to everywhere that didn't have vaseline on....I have seen the pictures from last night, and her skin did look amazing, but this morning with no makeup she looks like she has walked of the set of scary movie.
To clarify DD2 hair is currently 3 colours, bright peacock blue, cadbury purple and cerise red. and looks very striking. She has not used shampoo for years, but uses conditioner to wash her hair (they contain surfactants as well, so the hair still gets stripped clean, but not so harshly....so her hair is in much better condition these days)....when I remember how to add photos I will post a picture
To keep up with morality of this thread - I have just picked up a stray sock and put it in washing basket :rotfl:....back to lurking and resting my wingsThe cold never bothered me anyway0
