  •:rotfl:not in my kitchen he wouldnt:eek: eugh not sure i fancy eating one of those cakes now ive got that rather eugh image in my head:rotfl:

Heh, sorry, I was definitely  til I re-read!

DSD is in a strop because I "left her outside in the rain for 20 minutes". Really? Because I was in the kitchen 2 mins before I let her in and the doorbell wasn't ringing. I think she's just in a strop and taking it out on me -- quelle surprise :p

Dusting all done, just have to bang dinner in the oven. Managed to get hold of DF in the end and have the aunties addresses so cards are ready to go tomorrow. Also hand delivered the last of my customers cards today. Just DDs presents to wrap on Saturday and then I'm ready :D :xmastree:
  • Sadly these are permanent hair dyes that she buys from abroad.....very difficult to get a permanent blue hair dye here unless you got to a salon (many moons ago she used R1che D1rections which are semi and those I could get off with Fl@sh and elbow grease if I got to them quick enough)

I discovered she took all my best make up and green tint concealer last night as (until the top layers of skin wear away) she has cerise red streaks down the middle of her back, neck, shoulders, ears and face from rinsing her hair in the shower and the stain clung to everywhere that didn't have vaseline on....I have seen the pictures from last night, and her skin did look amazing, but this morning with no makeup she looks like she has walked of the set of scary movie.

To clarify DD2 hair is currently 3 colours, bright peacock blue, cadbury purple and cerise red. and looks very striking. She has not used shampoo for years, but uses conditioner to wash her hair (they contain surfactants as well, so the hair still gets stripped clean, but not so harshly....so her hair is in much better condition these days)....when I remember how to add photos I will post a picture

To keep up with morality of this thread - I have just picked up a stray sock and put it in washing basket :rotfl:....back to lurking and resting my wings

My next suggestion re: transfer was going to be CO washing but it sounds as though she's miles ahead of me ;) Is it Pravana dye she uses? I've heard great things about their staying power vs Directions (other veggie hair dyes are available :rotfl:) I've gone v. boring and my hair is back to black but I still hanker for a nice bright dye job from time to time.

I hope your wings appreciate the TLC of a good rest xx

Well I've had a relatively productive HHC when DD rang at 1pm to ask if her and her friend could come back here. The house wasn't too bad, but I knew there was stuff that needed to be put away or DD would be major embarrassed and I was in my scruffs :o They walked in half and hour later to a tidy house and me in 'proper' clothes sitting repairing DD's blazer :D I actually surprised myself with how much I got done.

One of 2 @mazon orders turned up, the other must be in the normal post, Mr A one is here and the problematic one is currently in P@rcleforces Edinburgh depot :jSo I need to stay in tomorrow until they arrive. I'm just hoping they arrive in the morning so we can get the end of the shopping done tomorrow afternoon while we both still have valid bus passes :rotfl:So while I'm stuck in DD wants to go and finish Christmas shopping for me tomorrow in Mr As on her own. :D

Off to make tea, I got slightly distracted watching the rental DVD :o

Just had a hhb (bath :D) since tots are in bed. Made it nice and deep to test the sealant round the overflow. Successful, so the panel can go back in now :T that bath panel and overflow has been on my toots list all year... :D

Going to do some more wrapping in a bit.

ETA DDs are all wrapped :T just DS to finish tomorrow night! Also managed to sort my cosmetics basket, and fling a couple of bits, plus put some less frequently used stuff in the stash box. Going to watch the rest of my DVD now, in bed :T

Achieved very little today. Wrapped a couple of presents with DS3 for DS1 and DS2, realise that I am likely to run out of wrapping paper, how has that happened? I'll wrap on Saturday and then if necessary buy more on Sunday.
