Haha to the poo cakes, just what everyone wants isn't it? :rotfl:
Time to survey the damage before I go up and drag DH out of bed.
I am going for a two pronged approach today so he can do one part of the lists while I do the other.
We have a few gifts left to wrap and then once it's all done and tidy, we can get the kids stocking stuff down and start wrapping them.
I have to pick friend up at 4:30 for cubs sleepover today so will have to pack a bag for DS and I. Off to the big smoke tomorrow as DS wants to go to a certain place for his birthday and then the cinema.
Think it's going to be a busy busy couple of days, looking forward to bed on Monday morning!
Righto, let's get deleting.

Morning!
Valli, well done to DS and glad you have both flychicks back in the nest.
HelenJelly, sorry DH isn't having any success with the hospitalreally hope you both get some relief from it all soon. It's a long time to without any progress
DS away to school. Had to have a word with teacher about a little girl who keeps looking under the toilet doors  trying not to make a big deal while still ensuring DS knows its not acceptable, lest he should start to do it too! Saw another parent who is incensed about the new school milk process. Currently we contribute £12pa to the subsidised milk scheme. They are changing this, giving us £8 back and now we have to pay online £15 a term! It's bonkers. DS has plenty at home, so I might just tell them not to bother. Feeling a bit like a cash cow - I've paid his milk twice as they lost the first lot, and they keep asking me for dinner money in cash even though I've paid online. Might boycott the whole thing till there is some common sense applied.

Back to flying. Waiting for school uniform before I do any more washing. DD and I are going to do some hm chocs and we might do a spot of decluttering in the dining room cupboard. Also need to tidy her wardrobe and possibly a clothes sort for her. She is getting long legs...
Might also try decluttering a kitchen cupboard to make room for bits and bobs that our guests next week will bring (mostly liquid)
So today's challenge is SPACE CREATION!Bossymoo

Morning all.
Natty & Valli - :T:T:T
HelenJ - Sending positive vibes
I'm trying to have a productive day, but its being hampered by a narky tween. Apparently I'm the most evil mum in the world again as I made DD get up at 7am on the first day of the holidays :rotfl: I've told her she can sleep until she wakes on Sunday, but there's just too much to do today and she's out with Ex tomorrow.
My problematic parcel is loaded on a van ready for delivery at the local sorting office, literally 5 min walk from my house so I'm hoping its delivered soonAlso hoping the other item from Am@zon arrives today. Between them and 2 supermarkets I should be finished with the shopping today (except for the grocery shop which is booked in for Sunday
)
Trying to work my way down all the computer based jobs so that I can get them switched off, some music on and get on with the other jobs. Work bill is paid, accounts are sort of up to date, I just need to find an email to confirm how much one of the deliveries is so I'm having a clear out of my inbox at the same time. No point in keeping newsletters etc from NovemberI'm making my comprehensive lists as I go along.
I best get a move on, I wanted to be shredding by 10am and it going to be 11am at this rate:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all!
Just dropping by to catch up with events - hope all the poorlies feel better soon - esp L/W and Helen jelly's D/H.
I am hoping that all the secret santa presents will have arrived/be arriving soon. If you signed up and the postman hasn't delivered - please do not hesitate to get in touch!
Last work this year, followed by some more shopping...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Just wanted to add, have one eye on security, flyladies. It's that time of year where the opportunists are just waiting for unlocked doors and busy shoppers.
Be sure you know where your purse / phone / bank cards eats are while you're out and about, and keep things out of sight in cars and at home.
