  • Thanks for the company Mrs M-Penny!

Have done quite a lot of gibble-clearing and have wiped the table afterwards. Then got two Christmas cards from people I have forgotten! So have hastily scribbled cards and now need to trot to the postbox...

    Back to cleaning after that!

  • Good morning! Bit late posting today, but I have got lots done this morning.

Going to post my list, see what else needs doing, then make some cheese scones to go with the minestrone I made this morning, for our lunch.

Accounts updated, problem order arrived :j:j lists updated (I'll sort groceries out later as I want a good sort out of what we need and I have Christmas food supplies stashed all over the kitchen :rotfl:), gift budgets updated, and DD has been out to Mr A & HB on her own to finish buying her gifts for me :j:j So glad her confidence has improved enough to be able to do this. Waiting on one last thing through the post (was meant to arrive yesterday but didn't) then I'll be running out to the shops with DD to finish buying a couple of bits. There is a definite theme to this years gifts lol

Going to clear out my email as much as I can so I can see what stuff still requires action.

Wrapping done. More to go. DH dispatched to shops to get "fun stuff" for stockings. He always complains about what I get for the tinies.

Just having a coffee. Then will go upstairs. Will hoover the stairs on my way up as they could do with it. Need to shuffle washing as I have loaded the machine with darks but there isn't a full load and there IS a full load of towels. I will bung them in when I have cleaned the bathroom. It's not looking too bad atm but we now have 2 bin bags full of stocking stuff to hide somewhere .

Sorted three drawers and created a box for the battery collection ;) I just know my mum won't have sorted any for DS present and it needs 10  but I have about 100 :rotfl:

Filtered mince pie brandy and bottled. Chocs started but not very successful. Think we might make peppermint creams too. Need to filter toffee vodka (again!)

DD just nibbling lunch, she has written (!) granny's birthday card and drawn her self portrait in her welcome book for new nursery.

Started a fridge plan - will keep a shelf for drinks and need to remember light stuff for top shelf as its cracked

Have some paper for paper chains later, keep littlies occupied after school. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And feel like it :T

Going to put some festive tunes on and continue my organising...

    Joining you late Kaz.

Seriously thinking of giving up on the parcel and going out to the shops. I can quite easily go and collect it from the sorting office if necessary.
