Erm. I don't appear to have achieved a lot. Although I am officially signed off the works lappy until 6th jan :T

Am now lounging on the sofa with DD. she says she's not napping so we're watching Barbie in swan lake

We've to go for DS in an hour. I could do a hhc :o but in all honesty, I probably won't.

Ionafan, good news DH is all better again!

Aww. There was a postman pat toy ad on TV, DD said her "bruvva" would like that :D and "when we get to the girl things I know what I will choose" I love her nonsense talk.

Hmm. I should be doing something, but d'ya know, I think I won't bother. I'm officially on holiday! :T

How did you get on Roxy? I remember fitting in cleaning whilst DS slept; only seems like yesterday but he's 7 today!

I did quite well; need to dust in a bit but apart from that if it's off the list it's been done. Going to grab a cuppa and wrap some presents for cousins; SIL going to Bude this weekend so she can take presents wrapped with her.

    Enjoy the break bossy!!!

    Wm is in and dry
Dogs fed and walked, it seems I have 2 to look after for a few days, not really sure why it is me to look after them, but they like me and we are getting on fine, one is a dalmation, the other well it is small than my cat in the UK, and I keep tripping over it, it is that small. But I will make sure they get fed and watered etc.

AGS has stated he is not going to school tomorrow, as all they did today was sing National songs, and get a small gift from Father Christmas, and if that is what he is going to have to do tomorrow, then he will stay with me, and do what I do! (mainly swimming, beach, and cleaning!!, he may change his mind after 10 mins of cleaning)

Hugs to you all from afar xx

Thanks for this; I am a sufferer of the BD and bought the BD books - I can highly recommend 'I had a Black Dog' and 'Living with a Black Dog' (for those partners who don't suffer themselves but live with someone who does). Got them on Amaz*n.
I've found "Facing the Darkness" by Cat Treadwell to be very helpful; Cat is a BD owner herself, and also a Druid.

I'm not at all well today, so I rather suspect that my attempt at actually doing the official lists this week is going to be scuppered.:(
    Thursday - Bathrooms
    15 minutes .....

Clean the bath and or shower This is done on weekends, as I need Mr LW to move the bath lift out for cleaning.
Clean the toilet and sink, remember the pedestals (front and back) Will do this when I'm sure I've finished upchucking.:(
    30 minutes to spare....
Catch up on previous days' lists! All caught up already!
Wash towels, flannels, bath mats etc Already been done
    Got an hour....
    Eat a frog Later, maybe.
Recycle any catalogues/magazines etc you have finished with Don't have any.
    HHI None to do
Wash the bathroom floor and the bath panel Floor is carpet-tiled, and was vacuumed yesterday; panel is sone with rest of bath, at weekends

    Extras
Sort out the plan present drop offs, etc.N/A

Check when the binmen are coming - or not as the case may be! Done - I have the revised dates in the PDA already

Flick through the TV guide and highlight anything you want to watch.
N/A - we're not big telly watchers at the best of times, prefer pc or console gaming.

Ok, it's not too awful, just the loo and sink and attack a frog as soon as I'm able to move without going dizzy. I have to be a bit better by the time Mr LW comes in, as we have to go into town to pick up my meds. He kindly collected the prescriptions from the surgery first thing this morning - bless him, he left here just after 07:00 in order to do this, just need to take them to S/Drug to get them filled tonight.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • hope you are feeling a bit better soon LW and the sickness goes
