    Morning All!

Slightly late logging in, but I have done the "breakfast-empty/repack dishwasher- hang overnight washing- fold yesterday's washing" cycle already, so not too idle!

Did the dining room yesterday, so today I'm doing the rest of Tuesday's list in the kitchen:

    Clear and sweep/mop/hoover the floors
    Clear work surfaces and table
Wipe the work surfaces and AGA top
    Clear and clean window sills
15 minutes wiping anything that is grubby
Wipe out the fridge,[STRIKE] use up anything you need to[/STRIKE]
Put away anything on the worktops you don't need for the week to give space for cooking/serving
HHMe time before we run out of time - long bath and pamper session (work Xmas do tonight)
[STRIKE]Meal plan (noting the above) right up to the 27th if you can[/STRIKE] -did this last night
Fill up your salt and pepper pots, have you got things like mustard, mayo, cranberry sauce etc? Do you have foil etc?
Is all you table linen ready for the big day, [STRIKE]extra cutlery and plates clean and to hand, don't forget a pile of tea towels for your helpers![/STRIKE]

    Should keep me busy...

Starting a HH-ishC at 10:20am till about 11am, chasing after FizzWhizz.

    Miss H xx

I am back in bed for half an hour with a coffee and some tiramisu, just because I can.

Sounds like a perfect start to the morning to me!

Empty seed feeders refilled, dog walked and refilled, BM on, Christmas cards opened. All three are from people I left off this year's list and now I have to make a decision about whether to send them one or not. I'm rather tempted not to, especially as the two from people I haven't seen all year have just their names in. Hmm. *thinks* A decision deferred until it will be too late, probably.

Today I have to find the instruction book for my 'phone. Am about to become an ex-virg1n customer and a new beetee one, but they want to charge a monthly for 1571 and I am disinclined to watch money trickle out of the account for something I'm pretty sure I already have the technology to do. *wanders off to search through sky high pile of filing crud*
    Better is good enough.

Busy morning getting the kids to school and hand delivering a few cards. I then came home to a phone call from the nice p0liceman who is dealing with my stolen phone. They have the man on CCTV and are confident of making an arrest. Nice PC came round (Frantic flying in the interm half hour) and I gave a full statement.

The downstairs looks quite good for the frantic flying. The bathrooms are looking a bit sorry for themselves so I will give them a go.

I've come down with a cold, not as bad the one I had after DSD's wedding which poleaxed me. Pretty rotten all the same. At least it will be over and done with before the big event next week!

DS3 has an ear infection and is on AB's. I went to the junior school play last night. It was good but would have been better if we had a couple of glasses of mulled wine before hand!

I have my new phone now and my old number is reinstated. It's horrible being without a phone. I can't believe how I've come to rely on it in the last couple of years.

I'll have spoonful of tiramisu FizzWhizz if you don't mind sharing ;)

I'm so pleased your DH is in the clear Ionafan.

I'll try and update a list or 2 later....

Healing vibes to all those poorlies.

I've tided up the bedrooms, put 2 'empty' Christmas boxes back in the cupboard (I have 2 more sitting behind my sofa with the tree decs in which we still haven't put on the tree), juggled washing, stripped the throws off the sofa again after DD has gotten something on them, and the sofa has been sprayed again with fabric spray as its whiffy.

One item has arrived through the normal post so thats ex's fianc!e finished (from DD, not me but if I didn't do it she'd not get a gift from DD and there was no way of making ex's gift into a joint one this year) , Mr A parcel has arrived :D DD is going to look like a girl this Christmas, and I finally have a new belt for my jeans! Spoken to my mum twice on the phone, and drank 2 coffees while I'm sat here trying to fix DD's blazer. Trying to unpick black on black seams is playing havoc with my eyes. I've had to take the shade off the lamp and put that on the arm of the sofa so I can get enough light to see what I'm doing. :(

Time to go and juggle more washing, then attempt to stitch this seam back up as neatly as possible before doing the other side :(
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
