My Cats gone missing
Comments

Thanks but I've put her on my local facebook lost and found pets as well as most of the other missing pet sites both on Facebook and off.
Still not back and none of the neighbours have seen her.The immediate neighbours 5 to the left and right have checked their garages. Apart from one where the person is a invalid and the home carer said it was never ever opened.
I'm really upset and keep feeling like breaking down. Yesterday I went to this smallholding run by travellers and asked them if shed wandered in. They said they would keep a eye out for her.0 -
Please don't give up hope. Cats have gone missing for longer and returned safe and sound.0

Just a thought - I know you've registered her as lost on these websites but have you checked the found sections as well? Not just local areas. Lost cats end up found hundreds of miles away (think they get into vans).
Sorry you're going through this.0 -
Yes I have thanks.0

Just wanted to share another "lost and found again" story to keep your spirits up.
My mum sees a local cat about once every two or three days, he comes in, has a bit of food, wanders around her house and then off he goes. She noticed that she hadn't seen him for about a week and then she got a note through the door saying that he was missing.
My mum called the contact number, just to let the owners know that she knew the cat and when she had last seen him. The owner was quite surprised that he had wandered so far and so regularly, as far as she knew, he "Only went into the garden over the back" (my mum lives two streets away)
He turned up at my mum's house, 3 weeks later with a new collar and tag and none the worse for wear. My mum called his owner again, just to say that she was glad that he was ok. No-one has any idea where he was, he was a little thinner than before he went but he was checked out by a vet and was otherwise ok.
Don't lose heart, your cat will, in all probability, turn up safe and well. They do like to wander off occasionally, I think it is just to keep us on our toes and to make sure we appreciate them!
Good luck, we're all wishing you well

Hello again...I keep logging on & looking to see if there is any news...
Please ignore this or ask me to remove it if you think I am being insensitive or stupid but if it was me I know this is what I would be doing & at the end of the day I don't see how it can do any harm so...
Spell to Find a Lost Pet
For this spell to find a lost cat or other small pet, you’ll need the assistance of a tree, rock, or other outdoor entity - preferably one in your garden or very near your home. Take one of your cat’s favorite toys and some cat food to the tree. Tell the tree about your pet and that you are concerned because of how long he or she has been missing. Ask the tree if it will help you by providing a beacon for your cat to follow to get home. Leave the cat food near the tree. If a small rock gets your attention, bring it and the cat toy into the house. Keep them near the door. Every time you pass the toy, thank the tree for its help in providing a beacon for your pet.
I 'lost' my faith in traditional methods of thinking many years ago & figure that the earth & nature is a constant force that I can believe in...
Hope it helps you

Our cat went missing for six months once. We were sure she was gone for good, so adopted another kitty from the CP. Guess who wings up covered in fleas, ticks, underweight with a bite out of her ear in the back garden, god knows where she had been.

Really sorry to hear what you're going through OP, just another message to say don't give up hope
my sister's cat went missing for a couple of weeks. She just got a bit disorientated when she went out and ended up further away than usual and couldn't get back. Just keep walking around, calling his/her name. Wishing you lots of luck. First home purchased 09/08/2013

Also try to keep up your normal routine. I had a bell on my keys that our cat would hear when I got it out while walking down the street to the house and he recognised that as 'time to go in for some noms.'
The bell fell off and we didn't see him for 2-3 days as that routine, food signifying event was gone! New bell on and he was straight back as normal... He is a little daft though!0 -
Hi Thanks for the support, still no sign and the immediate neighbours said today they havent seen or heard anything either. I personally thik she has either wandered off and got lost or been chased by another cat off her territory.
I hope if someone does find her they do the right thing and take her to the vet for a scan. I hope they dont just claim her for themselves. They will be in for a shock as she has a personality that only a mother could love!0
