You don't have to "put it up" it's an indoor aerial. I had mine wedged on a shelf.
The Freeview box does all the hard work you just need to plug an aerial into it and if you can't put one outside just put it in your room.

If the signal is poor an indoor aerial will be of little use.

now tv will work with scart but this only solves the problem if you are happy with catch up only.

Here it says live streaming BBC news on NowTV, not sure if that means just some sort of web feed.

But if the signal is good it will be great!

I had shoddy signal but I still managed to pick up most of the channels.

I have a poor signal and only get a few channels so less than ideal.

And that is with an outdoor aerial, I get nowt with an indoor one.

Hello everyone, thanks for the tips.

I have bought a NowTV box to watch bbc news on iplayer, but it shows some news but not BBC Breakfast News which is what I want to see. I spoke to NowTV customer service and they said it is not available through their box. But if people are having success this way maybe I am doing it right.

I have tried the aerial with a freeview box but no success.

I can live without it and if it gets important to me I will just plug my laptop into my TV.

    Thanks again

    Susanna
