Just £350 for me (#55) in February.
That's a bit behind my target, but on the plus side, I paid off the credit card completely this month, so am debt free for the first time in 5 years... and I bought a lovely retro fridge! It's blue and really quite beautiful (for a fridge).Save 12k in 2014 #55: £2900/6k 48% Save 12k in 2021: £55,533/£55k 101% Save 12k in 2022: £13,600/£12k 113% Save 12k in 2023: £1975/£6k 33%0 -
Saved/gained: £10.20 in ebay sales, £146.57 by cutting spending on food and fuel, some more on no council tax this month, and the rest from just not spending leftover money from salary. Total is 828.60. Wow. Never thought I could save so much.
Sending £500 of that into cash ISA now, and leave the rest in current account for now.
Good luck everyone! Hope you saved as much as you wished (and even more).

Heh, wish I could do that. I certainly don't require the 80 Mbps download I have but the 20 Mbps upload isn't even enough ideally and no other packages even offer that.
I've gone from 120Mbps to 30Mbps. Quite a substantial drop but to be honest I haven't noticed the difference for day to day browsing. I don't download a lot of movies or large software so the 120mb was wasted on me really. What will your verse be?

We've had a really good month of saving despite a lovely, and delicious, non-saving weekend stay in London visiting the Warner Bros Studio Tour (which is ace by the way!).
We haven't got around to replacing our written off car yet so have saved quite a lot on petrol and I've started recording all our grocery spending in a spreadsheet (even if it's just a loaf of bread from the local shop!) and have started making more snacky foods like biscuits rather than buying them.
We also had a nice letter from the utility company saying that we've been over-paying for the past year and are £100 in credit so our direct debit is being reduced by £24 a month :j
Plus no council tax to pay this month.
DH had a massive £460 expenses refund from a business trip he went on last year
And I was able to contribute a bit from my recent self-employment earnings.
And some of this month's savings were what was left in the account at the end of January but it didn't get put into the savings until this month.
So I am declaring for February:
#132 a total of £1741
February has been a good month!
If we can keep this up for a few months I might consider increasing our targetl!

Declaring £1,163.82 for February which is now in the ISA.
I think I've calulated with March I should have filled this years ISA which is cool.
I have a rough calulation of the rest of the year and should have enough to fill next years too.
Had my first year SAYE scheme from work come out and kept the shares rather than sell so they are not being added to savings but being included in the house deposit total.
Still think I'm going to be well off the 12K for the year so I need to now concentrate on 'extra' income or 'reducing bills' first point of call with be contact AA and Virgin to try and reduce the monthly bills.
Signing up for Insurance comparisons now so I will try and remember in October when my renewal is up.0 -
I've now opened a new ISA with better interest rates so even though I couldn't save in February, I know I am making good moves towards the overall savings
well done to everyone, looks like the majority had a great month!2018

Declaring £265 for February, it's been a tough month so I'm very pleased I've actually exceeded my target slightly! I never would have thought I'd actually become quite addicted to saving!# 072 'Save 12K in 2015' - £345 / £3000

Ended up saving £603.43 in February. Had a bunch of car expenses (including insurance) this month so am glad we've still saved a decent amount.0
