Well I've been able to add £1100 this month so I'm getting there! Albeit slowely
March will be a bit tricky with it being both my mum and dads birthday's and mothers day etc
But im going to try to take plenty of inspiration from here and attempt have as many no-spend-days as I can. Sticking only to groceries and travel..and maybe a box of hair dye...0 -

February Payday and this day has been a long time coming! We completed the house sale early this month and we have had the equity money back which we have put into our savings account. As we are living in my other property now our outgoings are much less!
Today, this has enabled us to save £2,650!!!! Yippee! We are now getting over £45 interest each month between the accounts as well so happy days!
My worry now is we will enjoy saving all this extra money and not end up persuading ourselves to buy a house!Millionaire in Training

Payday tomorrow
Savings took a hit this month as I've used savings to: -
1. Pay off my iPhone 5s loan from O2 + cancel the airtime plan. I've effectively had two contacts since September and will only have one from now on.
2. Get a TiVo box installed by Virgin Media. I've had Sky for a couple of years but just realised I'm already paying for Virgin TV, so cancelled Sky.
3. Lowered my internet speed down to the lowest one.
So my savings will be back up to what my signature shows tomorrow. Bit of a setback but it means I'll be about £100 a month better off so will be able to throw more in the pot in future monthsWhat will your verse be?
