Well done everyone!

Our savings this month-
£400 direct debit on the first
£60 refund from a utility company (a year later!!)
£100 saved from my self-employment pay
So I am declaring a total of £560 saved for the month :j
We moved all the unspent money after payday into the savings too but that was today, so will count it as February savings.
I'm also only including money saved into our mortgage savings- we have another account for car savings but since someone drove into and wrote off our car this month I am expecting to have to spend that pretty soon!
P.S. I may have messed up the spreadsheet a little- I submitted a figure at the beginning of the month and then again now, still getting the hang of it all! Will only submit one a month in future- sorry!MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

Seeing all these updates makes me want to contribute, but I'm paid mid month so I still have a couple of weeks.

Just out of interest, is everyone saving up for something in particular (eg. holiday, house deposit etc) or are the savings more of a rainy day fund? OH and I are getting married next year :j and also our house really does need a new bathroom
so my savings from this year will probably go towards those 2 things.

I'm saving for a house deposit, though I live in the south east so I could be saving for years at this rate...Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,984.78/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,341.430
