Not been on here for a bit... Been crazy busy. Also not been doing too well in terms of saving in July and August. My July savings pretty much went on spending money for our holiday, only a little went into the savings account. Hoping to put something better in for August after pay day though. I'll update properly tomorrow.

    Hi ya GAP :D

He is doing extremely well, hes 10 months now and starts the creche after our holiday next week. Its going to be such a change. We took him on holiday for the first time back in June and he absolutely loved it. Time has just flown in so quickly!

I was introduced to the thing that im doing at the minute by my brother in law and I started it in my local town and it just became a massive hit. I know I cant really mention it on here as people may think I am touting for business (which im not) but the initials of my business is JP, you may have heard of it.

Anyway how have you been doing?

10 months! Wow! That's great. Sounds like he is doing really well. The creche will be good for him. Socialisation from an early age with other kids, similar ages, from different backgrounds, is always good.

I have racked my brains (and google's) but I can't figure out what your business is. Seems to be going well for you though. Long may it continue :) xx

Fantastic saving there tara :T you should definitely celebrate!

    Thank you both! :D

I was saying on another thread - I haven't told any of my family and friends how much I've saved, I don't know why. Perhaps it's because I know that some of them aren't too good financially, and I don't want them to think that I'm rubbing it in.

Is anyone else in the same situation? Or, if you do tell friends and family how much you've saved, how do they react?

p.s. welcome back and well done Justin!

I wont be telling anyone as for so long I haven't had any money and I haven't made it well known that I had debt and no savings so now its going to my secret stash lol. My OH knows that I have finally paid off my debt and he has just said well save some now. Hence me joining this thread. I don't think he realises just how much I was paying off each month that will now go in the piggy bank (ISA) :D.
  • Hi all,

Sorry I have been terrible at regularly updating on here! Life has been pretty hectic, been working a lot, bought a house, been renovating and also got a promotion yey! :) I haven't updated since May :( but I am now at £3999.20 and my target was £3000 so I am very happy!

  • I am having that end of month panic where I have too much month at the end of the money. So glad back on here to get me back on track.
