Hi Guys!!!
OMG! It actually feels like forever since I've been on here, I think it was April. So I'll give you a quick update, life has changed so much the past few months. I have started working in a new franchise business alongside my own job and my savings have been boosted substantially! My original target was £5k and as of today we have just shy of £15k. Life has been very good and we are so so close now to finally having enough for a house deposit.
I have to say I was really struggling to save before especially with a new baby, but now I save all the extra income and have been building a successful business, i only wish I had known about it last year as I could possibly be in my dream home now. I have missed you all and it will take me some time to read the thread but I am going to start now
Happy Savings Folks!

Justin! Was just thinking that I hadn't seen your name pop up for a wee while. Lovely to *see* you again. How is your wee one doing? Your savings are looking great! Wish I could come up with something that would boost my savings that well

Hi ya GAP
He is doing extremely well, hes 10 months now and starts the creche after our holiday next week. Its going to be such a change. We took him on holiday for the first time back in June and he absolutely loved it. Time has just flown in so quickly!
I was introduced to the thing that im doing at the minute by my brother in law and I started it in my local town and it just became a massive hit. I know I cant really mention it on here as people may think I am touting for business (which im not) but the initials of my business is JP, you may have heard of it.
Anyway how have you been doing?

Yes that would be lovely SF. We are going to continue to save until next August, we need a contingency as well as a deposit as we may end up buying 'a fix-er up-er'. Glad to see your still the boss around here

Hi SF, I would like to rejoin the challenge if I could and set myself the target of £14k by the end of the year. Maybe a bit tough to reach this but worth giving it a go. I am number 020. Thank you.0
