I've just added my July update - a bit over £600 which takes me over the 8k mark
. I still have 5 paydays left til the end of the year so I'm slightly ahead of target, and our new pay deal went through this month so I should be able to save 1k for August. I'm really going to try and plug away to exceed the 12k mark.

I have just got given a promotion at work - which involves a significant salary increase and bonus.
Instead of spending my bonus's I think I might just treat it as an extra bit of my salary and save it... Quite excited about it all :-)My Goal: From 1st of Jan 2015 to 31st of December 2015 is to save 30000.
48.78% towards 2015 target.
105.3% towards 2014 target. :j0 -
Really pleased I found this thread. Having just become DF I feel a bit lost as not sure I can still have a diary in DFW land. I want to start saving the money I was using on debt and this thread seems like a great place to hang out - hope that's ok with all of you.
I will officially join the challenge next year but would like to save £3,000 by midnight 31 December 2014
You are all doing really well and its motivating to read your figures. I cant start saving until payday on 21st as that's the first time I wont be repaying debt!0 -

Hello all,
I too have been incredibly bad at updating during the last couple of months - I am sorry!
I have been saving still though and managed £550 in May, £2,050 in June and £1,150 in July. I have updated my signature and am just under three quarters of the way to reaching my target.
I have 5 months left to save the remaining ~£3,500 I need to hit my goal for 2014. Thanks to Slowlyfading for updating (even if I am seriously late!) and a massive well done to everyone who is still saving and working their way to their goal. I know reading all the other posts helps keep me motivated!
