    Hi

I've looked at my budgets for the year ahead and I would like to adjust my target just to make it slightly more achievable. #41 - £10,000 now please.

    Thanks

I have bought a tablet in the sales (Nexus 7 for £99) so have achieved what I wanted as far as that is concerned, even though it wasn't an iPad :).

I want to go and see Hamlet down in the big smoke next year so am going to save up for that now. Will have to include hotel and travelling expenses so I think it should set me back about £300. This will be included in my saving totals each month to keep me motivated.

    Happy New Year everyone X

    Can I join please?

I'd like £2000 to be my goal, towards getting my own place and general stuff!
  • So my interest from my savings goes in on the 1/1/14 (likely to go in on 2/1/14) this is the interest gained from December 2013 does this count as 2014 savings or 2013 savings??

  • I'm new to MSE but I'd love to join this challenge. I'm a full-time student so I don't even make £12k in a year :p But I'm pretty good at being thrifty (or being tight, I guess, according to my SO!) so I think I could aim for a very ambitious 4k.
    Thank you!
