Count me in again please
I did it for the first time last year with a modest goal of £1k and overshot that by miles, so put me down for £10k (including pension contributions)
Last year's thread was so inspirational and it kept me reporting.
"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000 -
New year, new member, new baby on the way (8th in total!), new approach to saving.
I'd like to think I'm already quite frugal but most of the money I save goes on short-term items like new shoes, a computer game, some new tech toy, etc. This year I'm going for a long-term approach and hoping to make my money go a little bit further and work a little bit harder for us and have something more substantial to show for it at the end.
With that said put me down for £50000 -
Please could you put me down for £14000, it will be a challenge, as that's £6000 more than I can see at this point.
This will consist in about equal parts of an 'Emergency' Fund I would like to have and money I am reserving for overpaying my mortgage at some point in the future (prob a few years away)
Will be counting only money I actually put into long term savings schemes but not pensionI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
