  • I'd like to join too.

I still have one last credit card to pay off before I am debt-free and can save in earnest. So a low target for me, please put me down for £4000.

    My aim is £5,000

Just wondering, is the best way to track you own progress a spreadsheet?

My first job for this is going to be switching bank account, Halifax or First Direct...off to research some more.

Would it be cheating to declare £250 already? I have it to spare from my December pay packet but would like to use it to kick off my January savings. I am raring to go, as you can probably tell. :)

Hi wilf, about a month ago I had no idea about spreadsheets either, now they are my passion! I searched on the tube of you for a simple spreadsheet tutorial or a simple budget sheet and pretty much went from there. Once you have the basics you can then just Google any questions or problems you have and you can bet that someone else has had the same difficulties.
