Just passed the 50% mark and we're halfway through the year. A promotion at work last month means that I should easily hit the target and we're well on the way to the house deposit. Enjoy the weekend"Chuck Norris can remain solvent for longer than the markets can remain irrational"0

Hi Slowlyfading - can I change my target.
I'm paying of a kitchen and have other expenses this year so my original target is not realistic and would like to change it to £3000. I also have to reduce my savings by -£1012:o. I haven't spent it all but I paid £300 off my kitchen and some of my savings will be for my holiday this year and I will not have it by the end of the year - so it wouldn't be right to keep it in this challenge. Ok that is me all sorted.
Save 12K in 2014 progress #41 - £1650/£3000 (55%).0 -
£0 for me again and a credit card bill to pay from my 2 holidays.
Need to get my saving head back on after I pay for my holidays. Was great though.Save 12k in 2014 member 056

July is going to be a very lean month for me, as will August. I have to pay for exterior house decoration, car bodywork (oh dear), a plumber's bill for boiler service and maintenance and a stone specialist to see to the marble kitchen floor (this the result of using a cloth soaked in Milton of all things to clean a few blobs off the floor. An expensive floorcloth). My income is down as well but I will try and put something into the savings just to maintain the momentum.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
