Declaring early because I'm now a ninja YNABer and I can't allocate any more to savings (my spreadsheet made me do it!)
Soooo £449.93 for June, not going to make the target but hey I'll give it a goPay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490 -

Hahahah! I know what you mean, I'm a YNABer too and know almost exactly what i'll save in July (and have a pretty good idea about August too). 'The Buffer' makes life very easy, if a little predictable at times
The only 'surprises' are occasional small bits of cash or cheques that bypass the budget and go straight to savings0 -

Ah you see I like me a bit of predictability. I was always a spreadsheet kinda girl but YNAB is like spreadsheets on steroids!
Seriously, I need to be held in check. Since becoming debt free I have really had to take control of my spending and occasionally I fall off the wagon. Hopefully this budget will assist in curbing any spending, along with this challenge...I still have some spreadsheets for old times sake though.Pay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490 -
Savings 2014 No 182: £4,000 / £9,000
Only £100 for June.:o
I have put some money into our pet emergency fund and needed to pay for a few things around the house so well under the target this month.
I hope to do better in July.:T

Declaring a disappointing £400 for June... Not disastrous, but I think the sunshine has taken it's toll - more days out and the spending that goes with it... Can't say we haven't enjoyed ourselves, but need to reign it in and be a bit more disciplined with our budgeting to avoid falling further behind on our target.
We've also done the "Easyjet Roulette" game for our Oct half term trip... Copenhagen for 5 nights for under £200 for both of us!! so that ate into the savings a bit too... Travelling is one thing I'm not prepared to cut back on!!
In other news, OH, who is a teacher, has secured some work over the school holidays at a nursery and some ad-hoc bar work for some extra pennies. I've also secured a fair amount of overtime, with various events over the summer, so it all helps towards the bigger picture!
Here's hoping for a more fruitful month in July!! Could do with catching up a bit now!!
Looking forward to hearing everyone's updates over the next few days!!

Saved £625 and declared for June.
Considering I've spent a small fortune this month I'm chuffed with this. Had our wood burner fitted, lots of decorating related expenses and treated myself to an amazing set of speakers for the living room, projector and new blu ray player. I'm also off on hols today but everything has already been paid for (including spending money) out of Junes income.
I did have a moment of feeling slightly guilty for all the spending this month until I reminded myself that I've treated myself without the need to dip into current savings or get in debt to achieve it! :T
I'm considering it a half way point splurge! Hope everyone else is still doing well.0 -
