I am sorry to hear this YB. I actually came on to see how you are all doing. You will be back though!0 -
I have no idea what has been going on with me this month but I have overspent so I will only be putting about £750 into savings I think when payday comes round next week.
I will update the exact amount next week. I think I might have to open a cash ISA/high interest bank account in my name to put the spare cash into as I can't seem to trust myself with it in the normal bank account.:mad:YoungBusinessman wrote: »Slowly fading it is with great regret that I have to pull out of this challenge. I, also, have already posted on the other thread but just wanted to say here that you will get through it and be back with us in no time. It's just a couple of years' blip, maybe less if you can find the way. You will still only be 24 by the time you are past this. You have soooo much going for you with your age and your ability to earn well, not to mention the savvy head you have on your shouldersMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

My update is coming!! Just need to work out how much I paid in overall as I had to rob some out at the very start of this month for a variety of things. I don't think I'll be saving much this month, so I'll deduct it from last month before I forget it.
A mixture of good things and bad that I hadn't budgeted for including a parking ticket (grrrrr!) and my graduation robes (wooooo!) so update is pending.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Been a decent month for me. With my 'investment' portfolio dropping about as low as it can go I have managed to claw back a few quid by not eating out much last month so overall just over £400 up! Thank god for my one good share that seems to be holding up the rest of my portfolio at the mo! A bit for diversity is coming but it is all cash dependant.
To 'Youngbusinessman' - sorry to hear about your troubles, hopefully you will be able to keep up your positive attitude and dig yourself out of your current situation - good luck and try to keep smiling!YNWA

Milestone for me, as i'm now past the £12k barrier for 2014 - £12,300.89 to be precise. Very happy to have done that in under six months
I'm not planning on raising my £18k target just yet, as i'm likely to have a few lean months around Aug - Nov, but hope to get past £20k eventually with a bit of luck.0 -
Sorry a bit late to update May's balance... haven't had chance to nip to the bank to check my balance/update on here until right now.
My total balance as of 31/5/14 was £442.13, so I managed £380.04 in May.
It's a tad more than that right now, but I'm not counting the extra until the end of this month.
I'll update the spreadsheet in a mo.Debts (as of 28/10/15)

After a rather excellent return on work's SAYE scheme, I am finally pleased to wake up 100% debt free today
As a result, I can add the rest of the sales proceeds to the next few updates as I reinvest them, and then go super-charged on the savings.
Could I update my target this year to £20,000 please.
