    Hi folks,

brilliant to see all the savings amounts coming in this month... Well done everyone, really inspiring! This month has been pretty good for me, we've got a couple of unexpected household bills but I'm paying them next week! So for May I'm declaring £1,584.36

    Happy saving everyone.

  • Soo, I haven't really saved much this month. £292.47, less than any other month before. But it was worth it, since the reason is that I paid for a surprise weekend for my OH (he finished University) which was quite expensive but really lovely, and I'm still on target (actually over the target, I may try to aim for £5000 instead).
    Well done everyone!

Declaring £2065.35 for May, which takes me to £10,300.89 in total - pleased to be averaging over £2k a month, which will hopefully continue for at least one more month, and after then we'll have to see - second half of the year looks a little more uncertain, although my target still looks perfectly achievable.
