I'm declaring £1160 for May. Getting ever closer to my £9k target for September. So my new running total stands at just over £6.5k. The sad part is we have to spend it on private medical care once we reach our target (there goes our house deposit) but for good reason. At least I know that I can save now so once the money is gone we can restart saving for the bigger house. Well done to everyone else.

Declaring £625 for May which tips me over the half way point.

I've had a nice bonus in May's pay check but not sure at the moment how much of it will be saved as I have a couple of large expenses due this month on the house. Aiming for a low spend month otherwise to maximise what I can!

Big fat Zero being saved by me this month. I am spending most of my savings on doing up my bathroom, living room and hall. They badly need doing but my savings will be dwindled big time once they are all paid for. Think I will take a break from this challenge for a while and then reset anew target in a few months time.

#158 declaring £205 for May. My savings are going to take a dip over the next few months as I work in education sessionally so only get paid for term time work. Although school holidays are lovely, they also leave me with very little money by the end of them!
Well done to everyone for doing so well! Who knew saving could be so much fun?!
