I'm a bit late for this challenge but does the saving bit include what you put into ISA's etc?
Yep :) it doesn't matter where you put your savings!

Evening all :hello: I hope everyone had a good weekend? I can't believe it is Monday again already and we are half way through June

I popped into the bank on my lunch break and put another £60 in my ISA towards my June savings.

Have a good evening everyone xxx

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hi Slowlyfading

Number 142 reporting £1,000 for June please. I seem to be spending quite a bit on things for the house now that the mortgage is done with but I know I'll settle down soon and then will focus on saving some more!

    Thanks
    AG :-)

I find its becoming a trend with me that during May I fall off the wagon completely after 5 months of hard graft, jump on again middle of june and go at it until December when I fall off again only to start the process all over again the next year...

...hence why Im here in the middle of june ;)

  • Glad it's not just me that seems to fall off the wagon when the sun comes out!!
Disappointed with the amount we've managed to save this month - eating out more, days away, socialising etc taking it's toll on our pretty tight budget....
Will update come payday - but need to baton down the hatches for June or will start to fall really behind target!!

Hope everyone is making good progress and enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend!!

Booked another Holiday (last one this year) so yet another low (behind target) savings amount this month. £400 in. Still moving forward nevertheless. Its all good.
  • An early declaration of £1000 and hoping I won't have to dip into it. All this beautiful weather makes me less likely to go round the shops!

Had to fork out £100 for a door repair this month (but worth it to keep all these savings secure :rotfl:). I won't be saving anything the next couple of months as I've got to get the outside of the house painted and some repairs done. I will pull my socks up in autumn!
