Pay day tomorrow so I've just transferred £300 into my ISA which brings my total for April to £426 and makes a grand total of £971 to date (I've submitted my update using the form SF).
I also have another £50 in my new "rainy day/emergency" digital pot but, as I anticipate having to spent this sooner or later (we have some roof repairs to pay for imminently), I'm not going to declare these potentially short lived savings. I'm thinking of trading my car in some time in the next 12 months though so anything that's left in this pot might contribute to this
This update puts me at 2/3rd's of the way through my target already so may have to increase this later in the year. After last years experience I'll wait and see what's thrown at me in the coming months first though!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

I am reporting £696.47 for this month. I was hoping it would be a bit more as I had a salary increase this month and didn't think that I had any extra expenditures. But I'd forgotten about a professional subscription that was due and unfortunately there is another one due next month as well
. It feels like such a waste of money but it can't be helped.

Hi everyone, as usual there are some great amounts being reported this month. And just to echo what others have said...AlexLK, it's about saving what you can rather than comparing with others so please don't worry!
Bills for me this month included some guttering being cleaned out, no.2 son's application for uni accommodation and car tax. Also got the old motor through the MOT but the nice people at the garage haven't sent me the bill yet, so that's one for May. Slightly wierd on the credit card (1% cash-back) payment as it's now on DD which doesn't go out until first few days of the month after...so I'm reporting a higher than usual £2754.02 for this month only.
Happy saving everyone!Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
#132 declaring £4543.52 for April
Most of that is DH's bonus from last month. It is still sat in the wrong savings account but something weird has happened while trying to change savings accounts and we're now afraid to move it! I feel so jittery about it not being in the right place. I also feel like a bit of a cheat for getting such a large amount of money at once.
Some of this month's savings is also some random money that appeared in my ISA, I think it must have been interest paid when I changed to a new ISA but am not entirely sure! Online statements only go back to 6th April.
This month we finally replaced our car after three months without one, I am determined to keep our petrol spending down to one tank a month and not get guilt tripped to visiting family all the time (450 mile round trip + loads of driving when we're there because they all live rural and a 50 mile round trip is considered a reasonable distance to travel to pop over for a cup of tea...)
Good luck in May everyone!
