CPP paid out for missold cover from 9 years ago, the cheque paid for this year's plants, compost etc., and left £48 to put into savings. I'm looking into ISA's, not sure whether to leave mine as is, just dropped from 3% to 1.6%, or close it down and put it all into my 123 account which pays 3%. Will have to read through the savings forum again to try and get a clearer picture. Other than that I'm plodding on, having to put away some pennies for car parking in June (holiday paid for) and found a site which gives 18% cash back so think I'll be booking with them. The money saved will be going into savings - every penny helps0

Another successful trip to the charity shop yesterday. Picked up 3 items for £23.
A lovely summer top by Penguin, never worn
A red mac by Linea in excellent condition,
A smart blue Ralph Lauren fitted shirt, excellent condition for work.
Must have been at least £40/item new.
Another £50 moved across to savings.
Seriously considering sorting out some items and doing a car boot this weekend as bank holidays tend to draw the crowds!0 -
I am so so sorry I've been rubbish at updating this.
Yesterday I had a cheque clear from March (I was totally rubbish and didn't pay it in straight away), meaning my total now stands at £2,074.
I went into the bank too, meaning my savings have now been moved into an ISA.
Will do better at updating, and will update again at the end of the month to include money I've put in to savings from Aprils pay.Save in 2014 Challenge: #193 £4,197.70/£50000 -
Savings 2014 No 182: £3,000 / £9,000
I put away £890 towards savings today, I was hoping for £1,000 but thought I would leave more of a cash buffer in my normal bank account as have had very little money left before payday in the last couple of months.
Thanks.:A

No savings for April as were renovating the kitchen, new solid wood worktops are not cheap! Will be back on track for May, and I am expecting a good pay check so hope to make up for this poor month
xx
