I've recieved my second statement, with no mention of points at all. Checked online and no mention there either. If I check July's total is says 2092 points.
Anyone else not had their extra points added, and if you rang what did they say?

Thanks Kuztardd, I just phoned and got the balance, 8200+, so well pleased. Can now choose dd's Christmas present. Thanks again.
  • I have got the points but the tel No 08700362444 is unobtainable /No not recognised whenever I ring. Anyone had any success yet?

Yes, I followed Kuztardd's steps and had it all ordered in 5 minutes tops.

I got my 11,000 points no problem and then we bought a Sony TV from Comet on it (Egg card wouldn't go through... again ).

I noted that they offered triple pulsebeats on purchases of Sony products so with the triple points on a TV came close to 13,000 points (enough for a 1gb mp3 player rather than just a 512mb one).

The appropriate form was sent off 6 August but triple points were never applied, the unhelpful people at the pulsebeats (no) helpline kept telling me to wait and only today told me to ring MBNA directly.

The chap their wasn't sure what the facts were as he hadn't seen it himself, but he'd some literature that stated it was only on purchases from a Sony Centre (which is new as it isn't on the form they sent me), he'll check it out and come back to me.

I'd hoped to have this player ordered in August...

Has anyone else a similar problem or had their points applied on Sony products bought from a shop other than Sony Centre?

I got my card, used it twice to the value of £30 each time and on my 2nd statement I got my 11,000 points. The Pulse Beats offers changed, so I got myself a 2Gb MP3 with radio, which was better than the 512Mb sports one offer when I signed up. The sports one is still available but I'm no runner so the jogging options didn't interest me. So quite happy with it. Won't be using the card any more though, I'll continue using my cach back card from Egg.

Sorry to drag this one up again .. I've still not received my 11,000 Pulsebeats. I paid £41 ebay fees in August, and I have a statement which says I have 2041 Pulsebeats.

The Pulsebeats people told me to call MBNA. When I spoke to MBNA they just said that my Pulsebeats balance was 2041, and didn't seem to know anything about why the additional points have not been added.

I do have a letter from them, which came before my statement, saying that I would get 11,000 points after my first purchase - which was now well over 30 days ago. I am beginning to get seriously peed off about this - I feel I've been scammed and nobody at either MBNA or Pulsebeats seems to want to anything about it.

I'm still having my issues with my triple points, however I believe the ones you should be chasing are MBNA as the (no) helpline are just the monkeys.

To update my case, after nobody got back to me, I rang MBNA back and they said that the marketing dept had said again that it was only triple points on purchases from a Sony Centre (just nobody thought to tell me).

This time though, the chap was a lot more helpful and believed me so that he chased it and got back to me with a fax number for the marketing dept to send them the proof of their documentation.

I did this, but they still haven't added the points, so I ended up speaking with a supervisor and sent her the same documentation, I can't see that will help much either.... :rolleyes2

All that worry for nothing.. Why was it so difficult for you guys :-)

    As long as you:
    a) Got your card via the online method and NOT by using the phone. It was an online offer only!
    b) Got your card and used it
    c) Had two statements delivered to you after the purchase.

All you then have to do is:

    (1) Call 0800 096 8679, give card number and birth date.
Here you just get told your balance and your pulse beats.

    (2) Hang up

    (3) Look on http://www.sonycard.co.uk/members/categories.asp
and decided what you would like with your 11,000 points

    (4) Call 0870 036 2444, give them your card number and detials and say you want to use your Pulse points.

    (5) Tell them what you want.

    (6) Wait up to 28 days for delivery...

Simple! No really, it is that simple!
    :j

Cheers mate. Could not find my points anywhere and forgot about it to be honest.

KJust followed above and within 5 mins got a 2 G mp3 walkman worth £50 on Amazon for free.
