Received my Sony Mp3 player today I am very pleased, but the whole process for the 11,000 pulse points was 'touch and go'0

hmm. MBNA seem to be making rather a lot of mistakes and sending out the wrong letters quite a bit. Having had the same problem myself a few months ago it would seem to be an ongoing problem. Their customer service is poor - the denials, the 'send proof', the 3 weeks waiting for call backs, and the subsequent letters claiming an error. Can Martin not pursue them? I only got a swift response when I compalined to a magazine who contacted a press person.0

Does anyone have screen shot of this sony offer please?
Have used card several times. I have my 11,000, but no sign of £60.00 player.
help suggestions please.
Thanks0 -
You hav eth points in your pulsebeats account but you need to phone them up and redeem them because you can choose from a range of products. Google SonyCard Pulsebeats to bring the page up.
btw. I joined and got 4, 000 but they ahd an offer where , if you went to a sonycentre and wtached a demonstration you got an additional 8000 points. I went and they happily stamped it without the demo and I now have 12000 points. Sadly my girldriend who also has a sonycard, but an amex one, already had 11000 points and they wouldn't give her the extra points. Still, between us we can get an MP3 player, DVD player and CD - £120 worth of goods for free!0 -
Just ordered my Digital Walkman Radio and a Clock Radio for the spare room! The delivery is quoted as up to 28days, so it'll be interesting to see when they actually arrive!0

FYI - An MBNA rep told me that they add the 2000 points on the 1st statement, when they send this statement they also send the information to Sony and they (Sony) add the extra points (6400 or 8200 depending on the offer you took up, this takes Sony up to 30 days (roughly when 2nd statement would arrive anyway) He was helpful enough to mention that there was a known issue where only were sticking to the lesser deal when you applied for the 11000, but MBNA can assist by sending some form off (to the customer or Sony I wasn't sure!)0

Agree with Kuztarrd - applied online, received card, spent £10, received 1st statement with 2010 points, paid statement in full. 2 weeks later phoned Sony and very nice operator confirmed that I had 11,010 points so I then ordered my MP3 player which I received today (13 days after my call).
Pretty good in my book! :jThere's no such thing as a free lunch but there seems to be no shortage of free tea....0 -
