6 days on after setting up changeover to EE, Asda are still unable to port my existing number across. Now virtually impossible to get through to customer services. What a mess!0

Allow about ten days. The only upside of my OH's transfer has been the bonus bundle. It ported on 8/1, and so the bonus bundle should have expired ten days ago on 8/2. It didn't, and is still working, without any other top-ups being applied.
Being a low user, that bundle will keep her going for at least 6 months if it doesn't expire.
Cheers ASDA!No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I wasn't standing for Asda's runaround. It woke me up to the many other cheaper providers out there. Tried White Mobile for a while but its T-Mobile signal was weak, so I ported my number (again) to Lyca Mobile with its good 02 signal. Still cheaper than Asda ever was!
BTW Asda Mobile promised to compensate users for lost credit if they chose not to go over to EE. Never did. The claim numbers were even featured on Radio 4's You & Yours consumer programme. County Court summons is on the way, adding £15 for my wasted time and phone calls. Absolute shambles: Asda is run by a bunch of clowns. Rarely shop there anyway; Sainsburys is the best chain these days. Even Waitrose is cost-cutting and going downhill. Chief executives are overpaid, spoiled ponces who don't listen to customers and just speed on coffee all day.0
