In all fairness the RSPCA said up to 28 days so it may be sooner than that I hope.

When Ewa started feeding the cat - cat was eating like mad, now the cat is more and more interested in cuddles so hopefully she (owners referred to the cat as a she) is no so hungry now, Ewa feeds her 2-3 times per day.

oh my word - the matts on that cat! even worse than my Nicki! that is horrendous! and the cat is either tiny or your friend has large hands! oh dear - I was nearly crying watching that! that cat was so desperate for some affection too!

Yup - this cat is really craving attention. Owner puleld up in a van, seen my friend feeding/stroking the cat, went inside without stopping/without a word.

Work this one out..hmmm

Ewa just told me she is uploading another clip - she says this one was when cat almost finished eating and was hungry - for cuddles

You can hear the cars near by, this is where that cat lives, 24/7 by that road

What a horrible place to be spending your time eating and sleeping 24/7. That can't be restful at all, the cat must constantly be on "stand-by" for something happening or someone coming and not really get any proper rest or sleep.

Cats in general like somewhere to sleep in peace let alone an old one or one that is not well, and doesn't look like she's got enough lard on her to keep her warm, she's too skinny to keep any heat.

Poor thing.

I really hope that if the RSPCA do come and see her they bear in mind Ewa has been feeding her rather than the owners as hopefully she is putting on weight. I don't believe the owners story about the 'special diet' - if they cared that much about the cat, they'd be stopping Ewa feeding her anything else.

As for her coat being covered in muck and oil from sleeping under cars, that would be poison for the cat to ingest when trying to groom. I can't imagine any vet saying it'll be fine to leave her for months like that simply because to take the fur off would leave her being cold.
