Best get cracking then and do the bits I've just deleted :o!
Not going to vacuum today as I ordered new filters yesterday so as soon as kids have gone to school, I shall dismantle and properly deep clean the dyson. It'll be suckier than ever before when I'm done with it! (Love youtube!)
Justhtetwoofus; I got up at 2.40am. Partly due to the cough but even when not coughing, I couldn't sleep well. Having nightmares too :(

Morning all. Hugs where needed, it seems people are becoming a little stressed the nearer we get to Xmas.

Just going to spend 30 mins on today's HSL jobs before walking the dogs and the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

I don't think 5:57 am is late, KK :rotfl:

    Good morning all

We achieved a lot yesterday, and all night my knees and right shoulder have been telling me that climbing ladders and drilling holes in walls are detrimental to a good night's sleep. However, needs must!

The carpenter will be here just after 8.00 to plane off 5 doors so that they can open over the new carpets, and re-hang them, then we've got SW this morning. Apart from a trip to the post office, it will be more of the same today, and I shall tackle another curtain rail and the bookshelves this afternoon while DH builds the bedside cabinets. The house is already noticeably warmer with curtains on the half-landing, so I must get a wiggle on and get some blinds for the kitchen and make the new curtains for the DR. I shall not be ready to put my tree up today: first I want to enjoy the house without extra gibble and take some photos for the "before and after" record - that means finding the camera *and charger* :o

Hope Woody is happier this morning, Dusty.
MMM, please take care of yourself, because no-one else will.
Big (((hugs))) to jools and everyone else who is finding this month particularly difficult.

Yikes I nearly hit a cat on the way into work this morning  Just trotted out in front leaving no time to stop, was looking right at me but kept going. It was 6am and a quiet road so I slammed the brakes on and hit the horn and thankfully it seemed to realise and turned back. I really thought it was going under my wheel :(

Thankfully I saw him in my rear view scampering off into a garden...

My heart was still going like the clappers when I got to work! But phew, I'm no cat lover but I'd hate to hurt one...

    morning all
need to stay focused this week as lots to do.
hope you are over your cat induced shock this morning Bossy. reminds me of last christmas we went to pick mil up i saw what i thought was a bag laying in the road in front of us while DH went in his mums house then it looked up and we realised it was a kitty poor thing made the most pathetic wailing meeow DD2 jumped out of the car and went over, just as she got to it a car came hurtling round the bend so it swerved to avoid her and slowed down (it would have flatted the cat) she picked it carefully up and knocked a few doors. it was mils neighbours cat. thankfully it wasnt badly hurt they got an emergency vet and we still see her mooching about the estate

hugs good wishes positive vibes sticks and spoons where they are needed.
